Actions Taken after MWG meetings in Budapest

• The summary of MWG meetings in Budapest was published in IAA Newsletter

• MWG Update was disseminated to all IAA member associations, certain committees/WGs within IAA itself and to AEN members– This time the communication channels were extended by the

dissemination of information to all Actuarial Educators Network (AEN) members

– Information was sent to members and IPs of IAA MWG and IAA PIWG

– Contacted the relevant IAA persons/committees (health, social security) to check the interest of supranational organizations in MWG activities. Further steps need to be taken

• MWG Survey on users’ interests was carried out. Survey questions were modified

• The seminar “International Insights on Mortality, Population and the Public Interest” in Chicago (3 October 2017) was organized by the MWG and the PIWG

Average number of page views per month reduced from around 980 per month from November 2016 till March 2017 to around 740 per month from July 2017 till September 2017 (probably due to summer months).There was increase in page views after the dissemination of MWG Update (6th of July, 2017).

Popularity of Languages –Hits on Update:The three leading languages are: English, Japanese, Russian. Other languages are also demanded.

Open issues and Next steps • Marketing responsibilities of MWG members/IPs – please disseminate the MWG

Updates locally/make sure that the local professional associations receive the Updatesand further disseminate them to their members. Please inform about thedissemination the MWG Marketing Subcommittee.

For this the proposal on the list of responsible members/IPs in each country wasdeveloped and sent to such members/IPs after the Budapest meeting (please seethe email on this from Nancy Kelly dated 14/07/2017).

• Supranational organizations – further steps need to be taken. The areas of interest tosupranational organizations need to be identified

• When the MWG projects are launched the target users of the project outcome andthe marketing have to be considered

• MWG Members/IPs are invited to make proposals on further Marketing
