▀ CSCU received a grant of $950K from DESPP/DEMHS to develop a multi-campus hazard mitigation plan
▀ Plan identifies cost effective mitigation measures to reduce or eliminate long-term risk to life and property from hazards
▀ Allows the campuses to be eligible to receive non-emergency disaster assistance, including state and federal funding for mitigation and recovery projects

▀ Post final, approved plan to each campus website.
▀ Issue a press release to the public.
▀ Include hazard mitigation plan as a topic for administration at meetings throughout the year.
▀ Have a hard copy available at each campus that can be made available for review.

▀ On an annual basis, the Multi-Campus Hazard Mitigation Planning Steering Committee must review the Multi-Campus Hazard Mitigation Plan.▀ Or upon the occurrence of a substantial natural
hazard event at a scheduled “annual Multi-Campus Hazard Mitigation Plan review meeting.”
▀ Inform the public about annual review on campus websites – provide contact info.
▀ Targeted phone calls to campus communities by Steering Committee.
▀ Post progress report on campus websites.

▀ Data request sent to campuses seeking the following information:▀ What natural hazards have
been experienced? How did the campus respond?
▀ Does your campus have any mitigation actions completed or planned?
