Apparently i t disappeared from view when t h e boys were on Fairview Hoad about two blocks from P r ~ u t y ~ ~ hone, a t 10:40, and they went on t o the home where Lucht phoned the Nike base t o r e p o r t what t hey had seen. He was switched t o t h e a i r f o r c e where h i s r e p o r t was l i s t e n e d t o . "But I d o n ' t t h i n k they be l ieved me,"Lucht s a i d ,

Bohl, age 20, says he s igh ted the object on I-Iighway 24 , f i v e miles e a s t o f H i l l C i ty a t 11:30 p.m. Pionday, A n r i l 14th. The objec t wi th d i f f e r e n t colored l i g h t s came down over the highway and stopped i n mid-air a t a 45 degree angle from the ca r . There was no scund, Bohl said. It k i l l e d tile motor of B o h l f s c a r a s i t hovered about -Lhree min- u t e s , then s t a r t e d moving slowly eastward fol lowing the highway toward Stockton.
