MPanel FEA software is a comprehensive set of engineering tools that

assist a user with the design and analysis of tensile fabric structures and

industrial fabric materials under environmental conditions such as wind

and snow. It acts as a floating application inside AutoCAD or Rhino 3D.

Once the desired 3D shape is achieved, a single click createsthe flat 2D panels needed to manufacture the design. Chooseto create panels in any size, shape or direction. Indicate aspecific width and MPanel will hold the patterns to thatdimension. The reporting feature gives all relevantinformation such as panel area, length, width and shear strain.

MPanel’s extensive 3D form-f i n d i n g a n d m o d e l i n gcapabilities allow a user tocreate nearly any three-dimensional shape. Exactlysimulating the form that fabricwill take on either a rigid frameor with cable supported edges,the software provides the usercomplete control over Weftand Warp stress ratios,edge and internal cabletensions andconnectionhardware.

Selecting the powerfulMaterial Compensation toolallows MPanel to pre-shrink apanel to account for any post-production stretch in thematerial. Options allow forany material type (Canvas,PVC, PTFE, HDPE and othershade cloths, etc) as well asvariable settings for differentparts of the pattern. Easilyspecify both Weft and Warpfactors.
