March 18-20, 2010 the Dubai International Peace Conference held in Dubai under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Ministers, and Ruler of Dubai, where the conference was attended by 100,000 people from different countries.

Goals of the Conference

Highlight the importance for the following in Islam Islam a religion of peace and love Islam is a religion of moderation and forgiveness Stand straight to make it true of the saying of Almighty (You are the best nation out of people)People lives in UAE from two hundred nationalities of different religions and races 

To highlight the major achievements of Dubai in the field of peaceful coexistence between residents of all nationalities, races, cultures and religions in peace and security and tranquility

Closing Remarks of DIPC “The Historic Dubai Document For World Peace"

The final statement included the following recommendations:1. Peace in Islam2. Vision of Islam in maintaining peace3. Obstacles in the way of achieving peace The first Dubai International Peace Convention of the year 2010 closed with the pledge of conducting a global convention for peace biannually in Dubai. It was also decided to establish an award for those personalities who have contributed distinctively to the cause of peace as link between civilized people. The Award was inspired by a peace loving person who is deeply dedicated to Islam HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may Almighty protect him.

HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued the supreme Decree No(19) on 7th June 2011, which established Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for World Peace with Dubai has its permanent head quarters.

1. Honoring all categories and regions, which have a contributed distinctively to the cause of peace as link between civilized people.

2. Establishing Peace and Stability and ensuring their continuity in the world.

4. To encourage peaceful dialogue between religions and to highlight Islam as the religion of tolerance and peace.

Almighty has created this world as a safe heaven for all the human beings. When we look around us we find that daily disputes and conflicts among human beings lead to poverty, sufferings and many other tragedies. This throws light into the fact that humanity is looking forward for a glimmer of hope and light of peace.

This was an effort to teach the correct concepts of peace by explaining how to remain firmly on the real source of peace and how to present humanitarian situation through the still models, working models and more in the gallery of peace, which simulates all the requirements of peace and its pillars.

The First Forum for World Peace Awards 2013

Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for World Peace, organized the First Forum for the World Peace Awards on 18th and 19th April 2013, which is the first event in the world where the gathering of a group of speakers from international and local peace organization held on the land of peace, the United Arab Emirates, specifically in Dubai.It combined several peace awards from

different countries and was aimed for the exchange of knowledge and experience among them. It also aimed to present the history of the peace Awards and their impact on the World Peace.

Dr Hamad Al Shaibani - Chairman of the Board of Trustees presented a talk over the topic "Let us build Peace and Sport together”

Forum for Peace and Sport 2013Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for World Peace also participated at the exhibition accompanied by the Peace and Sport Forum and presented the activities of this organization to the public in a notable and attractive way like how we did at the First Forum for World Peace Awards, which was organized by us for the first time in the world at United Arab Emirates, specifically in Dubai.

The Board of Trustees has achieved the goal of establishing the award "to encourage dialogue between religions" and make Dubai the city of peace, through the Dubai International Peace Conference.

The Board of Trustees adopted in its second strategic plan to award all categories and regions that have distinct contributions to peacekeeping as a means of cultural interaction between peoples.

• Awarding of the Persons who have distinct contributions to peace-keeping • The Award will be the largest Peace Award of the World in terms of Prize Money and

it will be from the Ruler of Dubai who is the patron of the Award. • The first Award Ceremony will be held in 2016
