SOME FACTS ABOUT THE NATURE PARK

• It is built on 5 meter deep garbage in Mahim and is located near Dharavi that is said to be the largest slum in Asia.

• The place was conceived by WWF-India to be a nature park in 1976.

• 200 species of trees, 38 species of butterflies and 80 species of birds, many insects and fungi.
