Participants will use a variety of programming languages and tools to create simple programs, starting with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Afternoon camp participants will explore additional programming languages such as JQuery and Java.
This camp gives students a chance to get hands-on experience in electronics, motor controllers, computer-aided drafting, manufacturing machining and robotics automated systems.
Students will gain hands-on experience in exploring a career-focused program once a day for five days in different career pathways. GenCyber's mission is to grow the number of students studying cybersecurity in the United States. The program includes summer camps across the nation designed for elementary, middle, and high school students, and teachers. The camps focus on engaging the learners with sound cybersecurity principles and teaching techniques.

Students will work in teams at Lake Superior College’s Downtown Center to assemble robots, using kits and onsite manufacturing tools and equipment. Guest speakers will talk about jobs in manufacturing and educational pathways. Priority given to under-represented populations – please self-identify.

The LSC Wellness & Wilderness Survival Camp introduces students ages 12-16 to living a healthy life through physical activity, nutrition, relaxation techniques, medical assisting, physical therapy, massage therapy and wilderness survival safety education. (Contingent on grant funding approval)
A camp for young adults who are interested in learning more about aviation and aerospace careers. Opportunities to experience flight in Lake Superior College’s aircraft and operate a flight simulator. Includes tours of local aviation industry partners and connections with professionals in the field.
Explore career opportunities in the emergency medical, safety and rescue fields. Introduction to firefighting attack, safety and survival to include hose-lines, ladders, ventilation, forcible entry, auto extrication, high angle rescue, search and rescue and CPR. Students will have an opportunity to visit multiple firehouses during the week.

The theme for the 2018 STEM Camp is Health Sciences. Student will learn about nursing careers, cpr and first aid techniques, DNA, and many guest speakers.
The Herdina Academy for the Construction Trades is a two-week course where high school students can experience the construction industry. Students spend time building sheds, exploring career opportunities and working side-by-side with contractors.
This is a full-day recreation and literacy camp for elementary aged children. Children will receive three hours of literacy instruction and five hours of recreation throughout the full day camp. Activities are designed to increase reading and writing skills, foster self-confidence and improve social relationships.

Scrubs Camp is a week-long (Residential) Camp to explore careers in healthcare. It is a fun way to learn about a growing field, make new friends and experience college life! Participants live in a traditional residence hall on Minnesota State University Moorhead campus and take part in a variety of activities related to healthcare.
College for Kids & Teens is a summer camp program for students K - 12. Expert instructors teach classes that will encourage exploration, adventure and creativity while cultivating young people’s understanding and appreciation for a variety of topics.
During camp, you will master the structure of web pages with HTML, and create styling with CSS. You will also create an interface design that will then become a working web application. At the camp you’ll also meet representatives from local technology companies and learn about the industry. Camp is open for beginner to intermediate levels.
Join us for the Make It and Take IT Summer Camp! Campers will participate in creating engineered projects using the 3D Printer, Lazer Engraver and Vinyl Cutter in the Normandale Makers Space/Fab Lab!
Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) are doing it all from pizza and package delivery to monitoring wildlife and the farm field. Come learn about this exciting technology and get hands on experience in the maintenance and operation of UAS. Then transform the data collected by UAS into usable industry products.
We will be working on improving scoring potential and shooting ability, improving passing and ball handling skills and improving the defensive game. Join us in the fun and become a better basketball player!
Imagine a VEX Robotics Season compressed into 5 days. Participants will be divided into small teams and work together to design, build and program a competition robot for the 2018-2019 VEX Robotics Challenge. This is also an excellent opportunity for any youth to see what it’s like to be on a VEX Robotics Team. Students will be coached on robot design, building techniques, and programming strategies.
The age categories are 4-7 year olds, 8-9 year olds, and 10-13 year olds. Students can choose how many and which classes they would like to enroll in between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and noon (maximum of 4 classes). Class choices range from arts & crafts, to track & field, to robotics, and languages.

Rochester Middle School Day Camp will be hosted at Rochester Community and Technical College on June 11-12. This camp is for middle school students who are interested in learning about health care careers through hands-on activities lead by RCTC faculty and healthcare professionals.
An Advanced Manufacturing Summer Camp on Welding and Machining. This course will introduce students to both manufacturing and welding. Learn about computer-aided design (CAD), computer-controlled (CNC) manufacturing operations machining and fabrication of metals other materials various welding applications and methods.
Students will work with multiple programming platforms to design three different video games during this workshop: an endless runner game, a rapid tapping app game, and a questing game. Students will also learn the basics of computer coding by using JavaScript platforms.

This is a 4 week (Residential) program where students experience biological, chemical, computer sciences, mathematical, social and statistical sciences through laboratories, special demonstrations, presentations, field trips, and lectures related to water quality and solid waste management.
This is a 3 week (Residential) program focused on scientific research to expose students to career options in technology and science. They will meet positive role models in these fields. They will work with a professor in an area they are interested and do research and write a scientific paper.
S.T.A.R. Camp (Students, Technology, And Robots) is an annual summer camp hosted by St. Cloud Technical and Community College (SCTCC) for students in 6-8th grade who work in teams to build, program, engineer, and operate a VEX robot.
Nitro-X 2018 will be held June 11-15 at SCTCC. Throughout the week-long day camp, students rotate through the transportation technology programs at SCTCC to explore and experience electronics, engines, suspension, paint, team work, and friendly competition. Students learn skills to help build, paint, test, and drive their 4x4 R/C cars.
About 100 selected K-12 students will attend sessions to help build their academic skills, work on soft skills and communication, and be given a work experience.
