HE SHOOTS!…… AND HE MISSES!
Thanks to the students at Dr. Holmes laboratory we were able to successfully determine that Gru and his missile would completely miss Florida! This study allowed the citizens of Florida to be panic free and continue with their daily activities. All thanks to the smart students at Oakview Middle School.
Angry Gru says that in his future endeavors he will consider whether or not the sun and the earth will affect his master plans to take over the world.
1. With your rocket aim from the north pole to Florida
2. The rotator rotates the earth at a slow pace
3. Shoot the missile and continues to move until you have passed the equator
4. The observer says what they have observed
5. Record your start position your end position and your observation
6. Repeat experiment 4 times7. Answer two questions at the bottom of
the handout.
As the earth rotates counterclockwise this causes the wind and water currents to move towards the right.
Wind also moves around from cooler climate to warmer climate to keep Earth’s overall temperature even.
Earth never reaches an even temperature all through out.
