Launch a new variant -Voodoo from the Axe stable

Youth

To promote Voodoo, Midas chose the route of experiential marketing to push the �voodoo� theme across various media

Voodoo Village Party - an exclusive �by-invite-only' party for the youth

The Event was promoted through the Axe Voodoo Pub Crawl and Roadshows. MTV (the media partner) along with its VJs Nikhil Chinnapa and Maria Goretti rallied the city's youngsters, generating excitement through various activities around the event. In addition to the hype created, Midas used the online medium to create a sales push. All product purchases generated a unique registration number on a custom-designed website. Post registrations, invitations were e-mailed.

A remote, uninhabited island off the Kerala coast was transformed into a high-energy Voodoo Village. Ginger was burnt over 21 days, to keep out insects and unwanted creatures from the site. Special boats then ferried trucks, gear and people to Ramanathurth Island.

The Party transported guests to another world. The Voodoo idea was taken through the look, décor and performances, while DJs Akbar and Clement added to the glamour & enthusiasm quotient. The effect was further enhanced through specialized frost lighting techniques which added to the mood on the dance floor. The Voodoo Village Party had a very high recall value and the promotions set a new standard for BTL activity.

Virtual StreetLined along the Virtual Reality Street were a whole host of HUL's partners in the digital space - from the usual suspects like Google, MSN and Yahoo to mobile internet specialists like July Systems, Hungama Mobile and firms like Ideacts Innovations, the owners of a nation-wide chain of cybercafés

Picture this: Google to MSN to Nokia to Yahoo, you name it and all the biggies of the Digi world were lined up to create a Digital carnival within the HUL premises

It was a treat to watch all the companies put their best foot forward showcasing their technological advancements.

The entire walkway from the customized stalls to the set up to the technical requirements as well as the company requirements was handled by Midas Next, providing an uninterrupted flow of events.

There were seventh generation games, 3D technology, the drone (flying camera) that enthralled and fascinated all.

This was then followed by a small get-together to celebratethe successful interactive program.

Link 27 countries at one mutual time with best connectivity

Watch Out Screen

Connecting the world! The magnanimous task of uninterrupted connection between countries worldwide was achieved on 29th November 2010.

A high tech web conference session was organized where 27 countries were linked together at the same time.

Singapore being the host country, this event required adherence to varied technical requirements.

A 36x10 feet watch out screen was rendered for this purpose to enhance the overall experience.

During the conference, a skit was performed which helped break the monotony of the event.

Guests were in for a surprise as they were entertained by none other than the melodious Raghav Sachar, the graceful Illuminati dance group and the ever-hilarious Kapil Sharma.

The night ended with everybody gathering on the dance floor and celebrating a night of success.

This is with regard to the recently concluded Lay's Chaat Street Paapri Ground Level Mall activation in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. There is a very thin line of difference between good work and superlative work. The difference many a times is in our minds. But it is this difference that distinguishes the ordinary from the extraordinary. This difference is Midas. I have had various opportunities to work with Midas and each time the experience, the relationship and the trust has just increased manifold. The effort that Midas puts in, irrespective of the 'bigness‘ of a project is absolutely praiseworthy. It's been a real pleasure working with Midas each time.
