The Meriden Public Library has a 3D printer available for public use. Whether you have a design you made yourself or one found online, you can reserve a time to come in and print it out for free. Monday, July 6 6:30pm Garden of Beats with Conga J. A forty-five minute adventure in drumming. With hand drums of every size, we introduce the world of rhythm to kids. K-2. Space is limited.
Tuesday, July 7 6:30pm Life in a Smashbook. 4-8. A smashbook is a journal with pictures, personal memories, stuff you love, notes, favorite quotes and souvenirs. This quick and easy scrapbooking technique is a great way to “tell your story”! Each participant will go home with a scrapbook at the end of the 6-week session. Registration is required.
Wednesday, July 8 4:00pm Science Lab: Thrill Ride! Design a crazy roller coaster ride for a marble—but make sure it doesn’t fly off the track! K-3.
