High Angle In a high angle shot the camera is always above the person or subject to create more dramatic.High angle camera shot will let audience feel the character is much smaller,it also looks they are being looked down upon. Low Angle A low angle shot is used in filming to view a perspective of being below something.The camera is positioned low to look up at the subject.This picture shows a low angle Eiffel Tower,from this angle,we can feel the tower is great tall and the structure is really complicate. Birds eye view A birds eye view is an elevated view of an object from above,with a perspective as though the observer were a bird, often used in the making blueprint or the beginning of a movie.This picture is the Manhattan. Pan The pan is the camera will follow the main character,static camera movement from left to right like the example.The camera will focus on the character,so the background will be not clearly.I think this shot is usually use to catch the frame which move quickly.

Track/Dolly Motion towards or motion from.For example,if a charac-ter is walking along the street,the camera will follow the character on a metal track,so I think dolly/track is be used something like this.

Crane/Mechanical shot A crane can used to lift a comers from low to high shooting positions.This can help you put the camera high enough,so you can bring the audience a high view.

Steadicam A steadicam can provide a very smooth frame,even when moving quickly move an uneven surface .

Zoom/Reverse zoom Zooming is one camera move that most people are probably familiar with.Technically this isn’t a camera,but a change in the lens focal length with gives the illusion of moving camera closer or further away.

Hand held A hand held can use when you want to shot something really near and it can keep you more smooth.

Key Term——Composition Example Definition/What it is?Deep focus The deep focus is using a

large depth of field.When a camera use a deep focus ,we can see the character and the background as well.

Shallow focus The shadow focus can focus on the main character,and the background of this frame will be fuzzy,so it can out-standing the main character.

Rule of thirds The rule of third is guideline followed by some visual artists.Note how the horizon falls close to the bottom grid line,and how the dark areas are in the left third,the over-exposed in the right third.

the premise that the audience will want to see that the char-acter on-screen is seeing.It begins with a character look-ing at something of-screen,followed by a cut to the object or person at which he is looking.

tion to the background to give more effect on the scenery.From this picture we can both see the characters,background in one scenery.

Close up A close up is a way off getting a more detailed facial expres-sion and audience can fully see what the character feels on the situation.

Pull focus Pull focus is another focus technique in which focal point in shifted from one part of the screen to another.

Aerial shot This is the viewpoint seen at a high elevation,it is usually in reference to a landscape or a cityscape.

Medium close up The medium close up is half way between a medium shot and a close up.The camera shows a half of the charac-ter's body,and this shot will shows the face more clearly,without getting un-comfortable close.

Medium shot A medium shot is a common shot used,mostly used through dialogue scenes and ables the audience to engage.

Establishing shot The establish shot is a usually long shot in film or video used at the beginning of a se-quence to establish an over-view of the sense that follows.

considering things,which shows us the opinion,or feel-ings of individuals involved in a situation.

Extreme close up The extreme close up is a shot really close to a part of the character or the objec-t.This picture use this shot shows one side of a girl’s eyes and it fill the whole frame.

Over the shoulder shot Over the shoulder placed the camera giving a direct eye to eye level to see what the ac-tor sees.

Two shot A two shot is when two char-acters occupy the frame,ei-ther face to face or one be-hind another.This type of shot is used to show a conversa-tion,argument,or discussion between the characters.

Canted frame The canted frame means the tilt of the camera suggests imbalance in comparison to other objects within the frame.Often used in horror films.Canted shots give the impression of chaos,instability and mental imbalance in a characters.
