May 25-31, ’21 ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST BLUEGRASS FESTIVALS RETURNS There’s nothing like the sweet sounds of bluegrass music resounding in The City’s streets and stages AND the savory smell of fresh smoked BBQ wafting through the air! In fact, folks as far west as the San Jose Mercury News deem the festival as “…One of the most delicious doubleheaders imaginable. Huge helpings of both bluegrass and barbecue on the same menu? NIRVANA!” Any given day you’ll hear legendary performances from International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award-winners and fan favorites given top honors by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA). Plus, rising stars in the industry including up-and- comers compete for the Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest title that takes place right here in the park May 28 & 29. ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST BLUEGRASS FESTIVALS RETURNS

There’s nothing like the sweet sounds of bluegrass music resounding in The City’s streets and stages AND the savory smell of fresh smoked BBQ wafting through the air! In fact, folks as far west as the San Jose Mercury News deem the festival as “…One of the most delicious doubleheaders imaginable. Huge helpings of both bluegrass and barbecue on the same menu? NIRVANA!”

Any given day you’ll hear legendary performances from International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award-winners and fan favorites given top honors by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA). If you’ve ever tried to turn pottery, you know that it is no easy task. Silver Dollar City’s crafts colony is proud have some of the most dedicated and talented potters in the land. Our clay throwers love to introduce people to pottery through daily demonstrations at the wheel and doubly enjoy watching guests fall in love with pieces they create. While in the shop you’ll want to take one of each of the many functional works of art with you, but if you only pick one to go home, we suggest beautiful and unique handcrafted mugs. These mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe, not to mention the perfect gift! With different mug sizes to choose from in lots of different design colors and glazes, you’re sure to find the perfect mug to give (or keep for yourself). Make sure to stop by Hillcreek Pottery (D-5) today to take home one of these lovely treasures! Plus, visit with our crafters and watch a lump of clay transform into a beautiful piece of art, made to last a lifetime.
