Carolyn's StoryAbout a year ago, I’d given up on ever losing the weight I had put on over the past 10 years. I tried everything out there and nothing worked. One day I saw an ad for SuperVision Weight Loss in Castleton. I called them and

decided to try their HCG Weight Loss Program. I started the program in September of 2012and was amazed how easily the weight came off. The

staff at SuperVision Weight Loss were very supportive and helpful. They were always available to answer my questions. They even called me to help with my accountability. Yes, I had to follow the program, but with their direction I was able to lose weight and keep it off. I completed two rounds between Labor Day 2012 and Easter 2013 – and I lost 52 lbs. Losing the weight made me realize – I wasn’t as old as I felt! My blood pressure is down, my cholesterol is improving. My health, overall, is significantly improved from a year ago. It wasn’t easy, but it was absolutely worth it. I feel alive again and it’s all because I walked into SuperVision Weight Loss, Castleton and let them get me started on a new path.

Hilton's Story I was significantly overweight. My doctor was concerned that my weight would cause certain health problems as I aged. SuperVision Weight Loss helped me lose 70 pounds over the course of six months! I found the program during the first 40 days to be easy and safe. I learned to eat much healthier and that was something my wife and I wanted to do for years. I followed the suggested meals, measuring the protein consistently. I had an apple as a snack in the afternoon or evening as well as learned to drink water. The maintenance period offered the opportunity to get reintroduced to some of the other foods that I liked, but in moderation. I have been able to maintain my weight since stopping with the drops. One highlight is that I have not had a Coke or Pepsi in over 19 months! Kathryn and her team are very supportive and helpful. The SuperVision Weight Loss regime works, is safe andyou will love the results!

We have SUPER VISION,we can see you thin!

Take us up on our commitment to YOU!

With post high school education in high gear throughout the country, now is a

perfect time to investigate the medical/dental field. You can become a highly skilled dental professional through an Intense Hands-on 12-week Dental Assistant Training Program. Indiana University’s record Spring graduating class is indicative of the national surge

in education pursuits. Dental Office Training by Lynn has led the way in

providing a tremendous opportunity for those wishing to enter the medical field.

As a licensed dental hygienist with over 25 years’ experience in dentistry, Lynn Uptgraft established

Dental Office Training by Lynn for the training and development of dental assistants. Her program provides intense, hands-on training, as well as the study of terminology, anatomy, and technology that is vital in obtaining employment in the dental office today. The Dental Office Training program offers a great curriculum including personalized training, limited enrollment, ISDH accredited digital radiology and software training in the latest technology.Lynn’s course has a maximum enrollment of TWELVE students so that more personalized training can be given. The course is outlined with a Practical Curriculum, as well as Classroom Lectures on Classifications, Anatomy, Tooth Descriptions, Armamentarium, Cavity Preparations, How to Place Varnish, Liners & Bases, Wedge Placement and Matrices of all types for the anterior and posterior. It covers resin materials in completions from the different generations of etch/prime/bond, to how to work with shades in the posterior and anterior area of the mouth.Lynn is now very proud to be accepting VA benefits for her classes. The Department of Labor states that between the years 2004-2014, dental assisting is projected to be one the fastest growing occupations. Dental assisting is a great family-oriented career. Most dentists work a 32-hour workweek and have weekends and holidays off. This is a career that you can use as a stepping stone to higher paying occupations. To learn more about this great opportunity you can reach Lynn at 317-585-9015 or visit DentalOfficeTraining.net.This institution is regulated by: State Workforce Innovation CouncilOffice of Career and Technical Schools10 N. I highly encourage you to investigate multiple programs before choosing the one that is right for you. The development of my program was created through researching and interviewing many dentists and developing a program based on their insight into what makes a dental office spectacular. The years of their experience and advice they had to offer was invaluable. Dental Office Training by Lynn is in its eight year of operation. This is our only priority. We personalize your training and teach you the skills required to be efficient and productive from day 1.While other programs advertise that they offer 12 or 13 week training programs, in reality you receive ONLY 12 or 13 DAYS of training!! It may cost a little less …. but with Dental Office Training by Lynn you receive 3 days per week for 12 weeks. This provides you with approximately 150 more hours of training than other programs. These extra hours of training are vital in perfecting the skills that today’s dentists desire in entry-level dental assistants. Each student earns observation days in a variety of offices. The time spent in multiple offices not only provides you with invaluable inside information, but also allows you an opportunity to market yourself to potential employers. This is a brief list of dentists in the area that have hired DOT graduates and would recommend Dental Office Training by Lynn to anyone interested in attending a dental assisting program. Dental Office Training by Lynn delivers highly skilled, cross-trained professional dental assistants to the workforce. Dentist who have hired graduates and recommend Dental Office Training by Lynn:

Part I of this article briefly described information on filing for divorce. After you file, you may begin the discovery process. Discovery is a process that attorneys utilize for collecting information from the opposing party. It is also a tool used to determine what the other party’s position is as to custody, parenting time, or property distributions. Several types of discovery tools may be used. A request for production of documents is a request for the other party to produce certain documents such as paystubs or retirement account information. Interrogatories are questions that the answering party is required to answer under oath. These are some of the common discovery tools, but there are several others available to your attorney.

If you are trying to manage your attorney fees, collecting as many documents as possible will help. If you are able to provide some of the requested information, then not all of the discovery methods may be necessary. Some documents to begin collecting are tax records, paystubs, bank

account records, 401(k) or other retirement plan information, credit card statements, loan balances, and any other information on your assets, and debts. All of this information may be pertinent for allocation of the marital estate.

Another important factor to remember is that not every divorce case or process is the same. Your family and friends are very important to rely on during this process. They will be your support system. However, they will all have their own advice and opinion as to how you should proceed in your divorce case. Everyone knows someone who went through a situation similar to yours and they will be anxious to give their advice. Family law is a very fact sensitive area of the law, and no divorce case is exactly the same. What works or happens in someone else’s divorce case may not necessarily be an option in your case. If you feel that a different approach should be used, discuss this with your attorney and he or she can explain why that approach is or isn't a good option in your case.

"The Interior of the Soul"

"There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky; there is one spectacle grander than the sky, that is the interior of the soul." 1

These beautiful words were penned by the famous French author, Victor Hugo. They are worthy of some contemplation. That should not surprise us, as Victor Hugo's works changed the literary and political climate of his time in France and elsewhere in the late 1800s. One of his novels, Les Misérables is known as one of the greatest novels of the 19th century and enjoys acclaim in its many adaptations still today. Hugo's theme involves one of evil to good, nothingness to God. 2 One of the reasons that this novel has held its place in history is that it describes this universal theme of the basis of human nature. Why is it that some people are continually grateful, regardless of their dire or painful circumstances, and other people complain and criticize, even in the face of abundant blessings?

I do not have the answer, although this theme has been on my mind quite a lot lately. It is my pleasure to attend a Bible Study each winter on Wednesday

evenings. It is led by our pastor, Dr. Kirt Anderson, who is quite a remarkable person and an excellent teacher. This season, we studied the life, struggles and victories of Joseph, which are depicted in the Book of Genesis in the Bible. (This story also became a famous musical called, Joseph and the AmazingTechnicolorDreamcoat. 3) In

our discussions, Dr. Anderson mentioned the fact that there are people who always see the negative regardless of the situation. He mentioned that he believes that much of that negativity is driven by a sense of guilt and that it is through our relationship with God that we can be freed from this guilt. As the story unfolds with Joseph and his many-colored coat, his brothers, who had been so cruel to him and had sold him into slavery, were almost undone by their own guilt. Joseph's forgiveness and kindness to them unfold and tell us another story of redemption.

We seem to spend a lot of fruitless time thinking about and worrying about what we will wear, how we look, how we will be perceived, how much money we can make, and yet, the stories abound in acclaimed works, such as these, that a look into our own souls and into the face of God may hold the answer to life. by Marti StarkeyFootnotes:

“The last few inches of pulling a boat onto a trailer requires using a hand crank. Last Fall, I was pulling our boat out of the lake and cranking it up those last few inches. The crank was fully taut when the handle slipped and the crank spun around and crushed my nose. I was taken to the ER where the physician on staff recognized the extent of the damage and called in an ENT immediately. I was so lucky that the ENT they called was Kelly Hiatt M.D. from CENTA . Dr. Hiatt did an amazing job of putting me at ease and was so gentle and kind. Talk about bedside manners, hers was the best. She took a really scary event and calmed me down immediately. Her plastic surgery skills also came in handy as you can’t even see a scar from the deep laceration! Her visit to the ER and my later visits to her office gave me the assurance that proper healing would take place. I highly recommend Dr. Hiatt. Thanks to her I am breathing better than ever and I even seem to be snoring less than before the accident. For that my wife thanks you.” Mark...

Integrative hypnosis is a form of therapy which encompasses many different modalities and approaches, such as person centered, working with the mind and body, personal coaching, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Faster EFT, The Emotion Code, Essential Oils and Reflexology. An Integrative Hypnotherapist will utilize these various modalities in a multi-dimensional way to customize a therapy program for each individual.

Faster EFT (Emotionally Focused Transformations) is a methodology developed by Robert G. Smith. Faster EFT is a fast, simple, and powerful technique that relieves all forms of stress and transforms our unconscious programming. It addresses the entire mind/body system which includes what you think and how you process your thoughts, along with the body’s response. Faster EFT is derived from numerous fields of study including NLP, Thought Field Therapy, Traditional EFT, and Ericksonian hypnosis to name a few. Robert discovered

that by combining these processes, we can utilize the mind’s ability to transform itself therefore allowing changes that happen in a fast and easy way.

Because of our own personal perceptions, emotions and memories buried deep inside our subconscious mind, we have become experts at producing our problems. Faster EFT identifies our memories as the “trance” state of stress. The physical response to stress is disrupted by tapping on acupressure points. This in turn blocks the stress signals that are sent from the brain to our body to give positive feedback to the mind, bringing the client to a calmer, more relaxed state.

Faster EFT can virtually help with anything including, but not limited to:

THE RELEASE OF: Anxiety, Addictions, Fears, Phobias, Weight, Depression, Cravings, Headache, Relationship Problems, Pain, Trauma, Smoking.

What is Integrative Hypnosis?

To learn more about improving your digestive and colon health call Cleansing Waters - a Colon Hydrotherapy and Body Ecology Center dedicated to empowering the individual in reclaiming health and wellness in a natural and sensible manner. 317-259-0796.

This month: think GREEN. Did you know chlorophyll, a component of dark green vegetables and grasses found in greens, is a natural detoxifier? This is because it has been found to help renew damaged tissue, build blood, counteract the effects of radiation, assist with wound healing, fend off bacteria, help with digestive disorders, increase healthy gut

bacteria, improve liver function and trigger enzymes that produce vitamins A, E and K -- all of which are needed to feed the body and help release toxins. Now that is a mouth full! Interestingly enough, the make-up of chlorophyll is almost identical to our blood; the only difference is that chlorophyll carries magnesium at its center and our blood carries iron! What this means for you is that green foods are easily assimilated in our bodies, and can be a powerful healing tool.

Eating fresh fruits and vegetables are a great way to receive the benefits of chlorophyll. Unfortunately, many people are unable to effectively break them down and we don’t always have the opportunity to eat as much as we need or would like. Adding liquid fruits and vegetables, aka greens, into our diets can help us to reap the wonderful properties of chlorophyll and much more. Many clients have seen improvements in colonic treatments when combining with greens as well. At Cleansing Waters we carry a variety of greens to help assist the many needs of our clients. To share our passion for greens, and to learn more, come to our office and sample our variety of greens, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Together we can help you find the one that your body needs.Would you like to learn more about Colon Hydrotherapy, Bio-energetic Assessments, and SOQI Spa experiences? Women put way too much pressure on themselves to be perfect or to handle things "in just the right way." It is true that women are the relationship gender. It has been historical through time that having the capability to have children has driven women to want to take charge of other people's needs. This has understandably resulted in the female gender wanting to get it right which has increased the pressure to do it perfectly. I have seen in my clients that they become way too hard on themselves in the process which oftentimes stymies what they think about themselves and their goals. The need to be perfect can interfere or rob them of what they want to accomplish in life.

We live in a society where women are expected to do things in a certain way. Women have to look perfect, they have to accomplish much, they have to be competent and they have to achieve these things while being authentic, compassionate, and empathetic. Unfortunately these attributes can often interfere with other goals that they may need to accomplish to fulfill their life's dreams.

If women are assertive they may be seen as "bitchy." If women are to be honest they may be seen as hurtful. This leaves women feeling fearful that their ability to be honest and authentic conflicts with their need to nurture and please others.

We need to get comfortable with being clear and direct which allows others to know where we stand which will really enhance relationships. I always train women to believe that being assertive is the most constructive form of communication when it is done in a civil and matter of fact manner. As you can imagine, if someone is yelling or cursing while they are asserting themselves....the communication is seen as aggressive.

I encourage women to be confident and assertive, knowing that others may see this as conceited or overly ambitious. In my seminars, I hear consistently that women have been taught by their parents that it is not polite to "toot your own horn." I explain to clients that there is nothing wrong with

letting others know that you are capable and able to handle certain situations. Although no one likes someone who boasts, it is extremely important to own your strengths and value yourself!

My shy or introverted clients often feel less than because they don't necessarily exude confidence and assuredness. They talk about feeling inferior because they don't have the social skills that make them feel noticed and valued. I explain that women need to know that oftentimes assertiveness is a skill that needs to be learned no matter what style one possesses naturally. Even a shy woman can learn to be assertive which will automatically raise her sense of confidence.

I recognize that intuitively women are in a tough position because the need to be direct and honest may conflict with their need to put others at ease. Or their need to be confident may make someone else feel more inferior.

Women really need to be accepting others for their attributes and values and not double bind themselves or others. There is nothing wrong with "knowing your greatness" as Marianne Williamson writes about in her book Return to Love.

If you desire more information on how you can increase your sense of self, I would recommend Brené Brown's ground breaking book Daring Greatly. Brené Brown discusses how difficult it can be for women to accept each other without judgment and how risking vulnerability can be the key to a women's self worth.

Have you ever made a commitment that didn’t stick? Resolved to stick to a new diet, but ended up splurging on a piece of cake? Resolved to watch your expenses, but ended up buying something you really didn’t need? When you fail to keep a commitment your brain immediately starts looking for justification. Sometimes it looks for a scapegoat. You didn’t have enough time to commit to your exercise program. You had to buy that television it was such an incredible bargain. Maybe instead of blaming circumstances you pick on another usual target…your willpower or level of self-discipline. If only I had more self-control then I would have been able to stick with my goal...This reasoning doesn’t really solve your problem. Although you’ve moved past blaming external circumstances, you haven’t moved any closer to a solution. Until you find a way to somehow increase your willpower or self-discipline, you will still keep failing to keep your commitments. What is Discipline? Most people see themselves as one individual person. Our entire self-concept is based on the idea that the person who went to bed is the same one who will wake up in the morning. You are you, right? To explain what self-discipline really is, think of yourself as a community of people. Within myself there is Enthusiastic Shelly, Peaceful Shelly, Focused Shelly, Playful Shelly, and many others. Although there are many different variations and states of mind I can have, I only ever have one at a time. When I go to bed I may be Tired Shelly or I could be Enthusiastic and Restless Shelly. Enthusiastic Shelly thinks it will be easy to jump out of bed in the morning, but Sleepy Shelly doesn’t seem to think that is a good idea seven hours later.

Self-Discipline is the ability to get all variations of You to agree to work together. It is the ability for Motivated You or Planning You to make a decision and then ensure that every other variation of You will stick with it. Clarity is KeyGoals that aren’t explicitly clear on their meaning can easily be misinterpreted later. Writing words like, “be healthy” or “make more money” are too vague to confidently and effectively communicate your goals & dreams. To start making better commitments, write out any commitment you make with perfect clarity and precision. If this is a very important commitment you may want to enlist a friend for accountability.Force May Be NecessaryThis force is called leverage. When you give your friend a thousand dollars with the condition that she gives it back only after you have finished writing your novel, you are more likely to write it. Lazy You may not agree with the spirit of the rules enacted by Creative Writer You, but she can’t deny the cost involved in not following that rule.PracticeDiscipline requires time, effort and respect within yourself. If you find yourself continually failing to keep a commitment then you either need to start smaller or add more leverage. Start writing down the commitments you want to make today. Back them up with leverage and build a positive momentum of self-trust and discipline. Don’t be your own worst enemy and keep the commitments you make. YOU can Live the Life of Your Dreams!
