2 (two) technical background of

BBS

• B. F. Skinner – Developed the concept of Operant

Conditioning… Organisms are motivated by how their

behavior OPERATES on the environment.

• Pavlov – Developed the concept of associative

learning – Organisms are motivated through paired

stimuli.

–complies with all safety rules all of the time ( safe behavior)

• Undesirable behavior

–job behavior which does not meet expectations and requirements

–fail to comply with all safety rules (Unsafe Behavior)
