Congratulations to all of the newly installed officers. The brethren of your lodges have entrusted you with the well being of your lodge. While each lodge is its own business, you have a network of brothers around you to assist you any time you have a question. Please make use of this network. One of the Grand Masters goals this year was to bring us closer together. We can achieve this by working together for the benefit of our lodges.
With the start of a new year for us there are going to be questions. Many of these questions can be answered by a quick search in the Digest of Masonic Law. Therefore it is important for each of us to be familiar with it. The Masonic Education program helps with just that. I have put forth a challenge to you all to complete at least one of the items in the program. Not only do I hope you will accept my challenge, I hope you will also encourage the members of your lodges to participate.
Being an educated mason doesn’t stop with just the Digest. Our ritual work is just as important. The initiate’s first glimpse behind the curtain is during his E.A. degree. This is the opportunity we have to impress upon him how much we enjoy our fraternity. By learning our ritual the right way, we can achieve this. It is important that the officers of the lodges attend our open books, thus setting an example for the rest of the members. Please don’t get me wrong, I know there are some that have a difficult time memorizing the work. We still need you to be present on the side lines. Going through the degrees is an important event and we need to show our support either by participating, or by being there to demonstrate how important it is to us.
My brothers, I hope you all have a wonderful year. If you ever have a question or would like my assistance in any way, please call me. I am here to help you. Fraternally,
RWJohn Bonner District Deputy Grand Master District 33rd
33rd MASONIC DISTRICT DISTRICT DEPUTY GRAND MASTER

Dear Brethren,
I would like to thank everyone for having the confidence in me to elect me as President of Masters and Wardens. I am looking forward to working with every lodge to make this year a great year for District 33. I would like to congratulate all the newly elected Officers and Worshipful Masters. I would like to thank our Secretary, Treasurer, and Chaplin for doing a great job last year. I would especially like to thank R:.W:. Paul Maturse for mentoring me.
Masters and Wardens is here to assist all the new Worshipful Masters and Lodges with their events. I look forward to working with our very experienced Vice President W:. Phil Slack and the Officers. I think together this group of Master Masons will make this a stellar year for District 33. If there is anything that I can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact me. My phone number is (561) 445-6050.
I would also like to mention that there is a districtwide event called Diamonds and Gold Ladies Night. It will be held on February 11, 2017, at Tropical Acres Restaurant. The cost is $55 per ticket or a discount is available if you purchase a full table. If all the Secretaries could possibly get 10 people for a table to get the discount it would be a great help. Tables are starting to sell quickly. There will be a live band, great food, and great fun! A solid gold jewelry auction is planned and other items will be up for auction as well. Last year we raised almost $10,000. We hope we can break that record this year! This event will be for Districts 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36. This event is sponsored by all of South Florida. All proceeds benefit the Masonic Home First Ladies Project. This year the project is for a nurse’s station remodel and update. It is badly needed and very expensive. If you are unable to attend the event, you may still donate.
We have a raffle for a Glock 43 compact 9 mm pistol. You can purchase tickets from me for that raffle. Tickets are $20 each or six for $100. There is a limited amount of tickets and they are also starting to sell quickly. All proceeds go to the Masonic Home Charity First Ladies Project. All donations accepted.

Hollywood 12 Rainbow Girls!!!!!
Thank you so much District 33 for all of your loving and caring support!
We are so grateful for each of the lodges who invited us to help serve for their installation dinner. The lunches and dinners we attended were North Star, Coral Springs, Hurricane, two York Rite, North Broward, and our own sponsoring lodge, Eureka North Shore. Extra thanks to those individuals who gave personal donations to the assembly. We are so appreciative of the family your lodges provide our girls when we visit. The girls always feel welcome and accepted. With your donations given, you help us to get the girls to Grand Assembly in June, and, in turn, their presence at Grand Assembly helps Florida Rainbow to raise thousands of dollars to support the terminal and severely ill children to attend Camp Boggy Creek summer camp. You help us to put the smiles on these young children's faces each year.
Thank you to those who came to our own installation. It may have been a small one this time, but it held all the heart of a large installation. We appreciate you for taking the time to join us. We look forward to a larger installation after we initiate our new girls.
Hurry and order your Valentine's flower Delivery today! Thank you to those who have participated in our Flower Sale. Each arrangement is $15 and is delivered to your loved one. (Non-gated community only, unless you are able to provide access) If you have not ordered your flowers, please do so by Feb 3rd. You can email Mom Toni at [email protected], or text at (954)290-1916.
