basketball team and owner of HDNet,which is a HDTV cable network

• Left high school early to enroll atPittsburgh University then latertransferred to Indiana University

• Founded MicroSolutions which deals withsystem software and integrators; foundedtechnologies such as carbon copy, lotusnotes and CompuServe

• Then founded Broadcast.com which dealtwith college sports and web casting whichbecame part of yahoo sports after Cubansold it for $5.9 Billion in yahoo stock

Dallas Mavericks

• Took over ownership of the Mavericks onJanuary 15 2000 for $285 million
