INTRODUCTION

MY CLIENT WILL BE SWA STUDENTS. I’M GOING TO WRITE THE NEWS FOR THE STUDENTS WHO WANT TO KNOW THE THINGS THAT OUR SWA FAMILIES AREN’T TELLING AND SHOWING US.

TIME ALLOWANCE : 8 WEEKS

UNIT QUESTION : CAN WE TRUST EVERYTHING WE SEE AND HEAR IN THE MEDIA?

SPECIFICATION AND LIMITATION : YOU NEED AND INTERNET CONNECTION, A COMPUTER, AND POWER.

FOR MY SPECIFICATION AND LIMITATION, I NEED MY BLOG TO BE RELIABLE, FACTUAL, ENTERTAINING AND INFORMATIVE.


SWA STUDENTS WILL BE CURIOUS ABOUT THE THINGS THEY DON’T KNOW THAT THE TEACHERS KNOW. I DECIDED TO MAKE A ONLINE NEWS BESIDE NEWS PAPER BECAUSE WE COULD HAVE MORE INFORMATION FROM INTERNET JUST LIKE VIDEO AND OTHER SITES.

THE BAD THING FOR ONLINE NEWS IS THAT WE CANT LOOK AT THE NEWS IF THERE IS NO INTERNET CONNECTION AND ERRORS AND IT SPENDS LOTS OF ENERGY.


WHILE I’M DOING THIS, I WILL BE COMMUNICATING WITH EACH OTHER. BECAUSE I WILL BE HELPING THEM TO TELL THEM SOME NEW THINGS AND LET THEM KNOW MORE ABOUT NEWS.


THIS TASK WILL BE COMMUNITY SERVICE BECAUSE I’M HELPING THE STUDENTS TO KNOW MORE ABOUT OUR SCHOOL.

1. WHY DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE THINGS WHAT THE SCHOOL IS DOING?

2. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO KNOW ABOUT IT?

3. WHAT DO YOU FEEL IF SOMEBODY IS KNOWING SOMETHING THAT YOU DON’T KNOW?

4. WHAT IS THE BAD THINGS ABOUT ONLINE NEWS? (YOUR OPINION)


CLIENT ANSWER

BECAUSE TEACHERS ARE NOT TELLING US ABOUT IT WELL SO WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT MORE.

WE CAN ASK FRIENDS OR TEACHERS AGAIN.

WE FEEL CURIOUS.

WE CANT READ IT IF WE DON’T HAVE ANY INTERNET CONNECTION.

EVALUATION


EVALUATING MY PERFORMANCE AT EACH STAGE OF THE DESIGN CYCLE

Investigation-I think I did the investigation stage well. I searched and asked people to get informations.

Design-I think I did the design stage well. I thought about how will it be good if I put the pictures in different places.

Plan-I don’t think I did this stage well because I was not doing my job well but I did chat with my friends too. And I didn’t did the things based on my plan.

Create-I don’t really know if I did this stage well or not but I don’t think I did it well.

Evaluate-I think I did the reflection stage well. I reflect myself by posting a Journal at my blog for each slides I’ve made.


SUCCESSFUL POINTS OF PRODUCT

In my opinion, I did well to finished all things until the deadline. I was not able to finish things base on my plan so It was hard to finish all things in time if I didn’t concentrate or work.


LEAST SUCCESSFUL POINTS OF PRODUCT

In my opinion, I didn’t do well during the project. I chat, played with friends a lot and sometimes I didn’t know what i’m doing or what I should do that time. So I had to ask my friends to do my project.


MODIFICATION OF PRODUCT

If I had to make another one, I don’t think that I’ll be happy with that because it was quite boring for me and I had to do many stuffs to make it organized. It was hard to be done until the deadline so I think I’m so lazy about it.


CLIENT AND PEER TO PEER

MY CLIENT SAID THAT MY NEWS IS GOOD AND INTERESTING ENOUGH. SHE SAID THAT IT WAS A LITTLE BIT SHORT TO BE A NEWS SO I HAVE TO MAKE MORE SLIDES AND WORDS SO THAT IT WILL BE MORE INTERESTING AND UNDERSTANDABLE.


The Impact To Society

IT GIVES US MORE KNOWLEDGE IF WE READ NEWS. WE CAN KNOW NEW THINGS THAT IS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD. NEWS IS IMPORTANT TO OUR SOCIETY.
