Tier N Suppliers Present “Hidden” Supply Chain Risk Exposure

A growing number of Supply Chain Disruptions are rooted in issues at the Tier 2 supplier level & beyond (Tier-N). Most companies know their primary (tier 1 suppliers), however it is common for them to have very limited or essentially no visibility into a primary supplier’s sub-tier. This results in exposure to be being blind-sided by Tier N supplier disruptions which can have a ripple effect upstream. At D&B we have “cracked the code” by leveraging tremendous proprietary D&B assets and advanced analytics to provide directional visibility into “hidden” Global Tier-N supply chain risk. In this session, Sue Sheehey. will discuss the directional supply chain insights D&B can provide covering various dimensions of Tier-N supply chain risk.

Business Turnaround: From Chaos to

BreakthroughIn today’s global economy most companies have turnaround plans in place or at least they think they do. We all know staying still is detrimental to any business but a change without accurate and crisp vision and supporting roadmap can be as damaging to the business.

It is no longer a valid operating model to change one business driver at a time or continuing to rely on past winning strategies and believing they will deliver future success. We must learn to make multiple “Calculated Changes” part of our business DNA.

In this session, we will discuss methodologies to develop

business turnaround plans. !

Insight Incorporation: Transformative Value Through Analytics

Recently, data, cutting-edge modelling tools, self-service architecture, and data-savvy analysts and managers can apply advanced analytics techniques for insights beyond isolated factory processes. In an environment that demands constant improvements in quality and productivity, analytics solutions must be quickly available and easily incorporated into business decisions to transform the business.

We must be deliberate in our quest to ensure insights are incorporated into the business. This is more likely by having a systematic methodology focused on the business - process, problems, people, and systems - utilizing a model that converts analytics-derived insights that are reliable, explainable, deployable and scalable.
