The duck pond is a great place to picnic or just to relax and
feed the birds.

Another part of the park is the Joel E. Ferris Perennial Garden, which
changes from week to week.

The Nishinomiya Japanese Garden was completed in 1974 and symbolizes the
friendship of Spokane, Washington with its sister city, Nishinomiya, Japan.

The Gaisler Conservatory has
seasonal displays of flowers, succulents,
cacti, orchids, and other tropical plants.

The Rose Hill Rose Garden is especially
popular from late June to August.

The lesser known Lilac Garden sits behind the Rose Garden and has many varieties of the Lilac City's favorite
flower.

The more formal Duncan Garden encompasses three acres of flowers
and a large granite fountain.
