What is MSC?

• It was officially inaugurated by the 4th Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on 12 February 1996.

• It was crucial to accelerate the objectives of Vision 2020 and to transform Malaysia into a modern state by the year 2020, with the adoption of a knowledge-based society framework

Malaysia 7 Flagship• To achieve the objectives of Vision 2020, 7 innovative

flagship applications was planned for implementation.

• These applications were developed to kick start the MSC Malaysia initiative & create an innovative multimedia utopia for entrepreneurs & consumers, which is involves various multimedia technology fields.

• The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) offers attractive initiatives for Malaysians in the era of information.
