1 "For behold, the day is coming,burning like an oven, when all thearrogant and all evildoers will bestubble. The day that is comingshall set them ablaze, says theLORD of hosts,

… so that it will leave them neitherroot nor branch. The coming daywill consume them,” says the Lordof Hosts, “not leaving them root orbranches. ”

2 But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. 3

And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the LORD of hosts.

4 "Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. 5 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.

hearts of children to their fathers,

lest I come and strike the land with

a decree of utter destruction."

God will send the Spirit of Elijah –To prepare a people ready for the

coming of the Lord

Every believer is called to received the Spirit of God to prepare people

for the Coming of the Lord.

John the Baptist is not Elijah

reincarnated. John operates in the

spirit and power of Elijah

Elisha had the spirit and

power of Elijah

LUKE 1:17

17 And he will go before Him in the

spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the

hearts of fathers to their children, and

the disobedient to the understanding of

the righteous, to make ready for the

Lord a prepared people. ”

repentance . Christians are

mandated to preach repentance in

these last days.

Natural fathers and spiritual fathers must learn to patiently develop their children to their full potential calling

in the Lord rather than expect immediately a successful output in

life or else be replaced. Natural & Spiritual fathers must

learn art of mentoring and coaching.

FEW POINTERS

The attitude should be understanding the weak points and

not grudgingly mentoringMust learn not to shame them by

exposing to public their weak points as subject matters. Learn to keep it confidential to ensure trust inside

relationship.

You can’t become a father, like the

Father, unless you know the Father.

We must learn to forgive our earthly

father so that we are released from

any bondage of becoming like them

in a negative way and start to become

like our Father in heaven.

What this means as well, I’ll give you

something else very practically, serve

younger people, children.

There are so many people in the

church that need “fathering”

Most of what you learn about

spiritual leadership in the church is

learned through parental leadership

in the home.

We must learn to

balance our priority

for our family and

work and ministry.

If there is an imbalance and we tend

to have no time for our family and

too much time for work, we will

eventually impart it inside the church

and develop leaders who have so

much time in ministry but no time

for the family.

”

If the devil can not stop you in the

ministry , he will push you in doing

so much ministry until you destroy

your family by having no time at all.

We can win the world but

lose our family.

QUALIFICATIONThe qualifications to be a leader in the church is a healthy family life. The devil knows if he can destroy

our family life even though successful in ministry, we can be

disqualified to lead the church in the eyes of God. Men may choose to

allow us to lead the church in spite of neglecting our family but God knows

.

DO NOT OVERLOAD

To all leaders, be careful NOT TO OVERLOAD your people with so

many ministry to a point they neglect their family time in the name of the ministry. We will be responsible to the effect it will bring to their family.

We must in wisdom seek God the amount of weight we put on their shoulder otherwise we end up like

EGYPTIAN HARD TASK MASTERS whipping them to

produce result at the expense of their family .

Every believer has a specific

MINISTRY to fulfill. We are not

called to DO ALL THE

MINISTRY BY OURSELVES just

because WE HAVE A LACK OF

WORKERS.

To those Christians not involve in

the ministry , God will hold you

responsible if you see your brother

carrying so much ministry load to a

point his family suffers and you do

not help your brother.

LEAVE A DIFFERENT LEGACY IN AN UNFATHERED

GENERATION
