Intensity of narrative

As soon as the short starts there is an intense diagetic sound of someone being restless with the footage being shown.

What this suggests is that action has already started in the film, indeed it has.

This shows that action short films narrative should go into the action straight away for the audience to feel attached.

Representation of drugs

It’s not clear what the producers wanted to present here.

However, the editing of the scenes after the two men take their drugs suggest drugs take a massive toll on a person’s actions. This is possibly the main message of the short film. The effects of drugs on peoples. The short film seems to be giving a negative approach.

The producers have used simple generic camera work to show this is an intense short film, such as: point of view shots and long shots to show the chase to the audience members.
