    Decor Thermoglass dishes

    Thermoglass tempered glass dishes are

specially designed for use in conventional

ovens and microwaves and to cook, serve,

    store and reheat your meals.

Three sizes are available: 2.0 litre, 1.0 litre

    and 540 ml.

They come with a range of features:

    Thermoglass is tempered to make

    it strong and oven-safe.

The rounded square shape ensures efficient,

    even cooking.

    The continuous edge allows safe,

    easy lifting.

    Thermoglass wont absorb flavours

    or stains.

When not in use, the three Thermoglass

dishes and Microsafe lids nest together

    to save space.

Heres a handy tip: the 540 ml Thermoglass

dish and Microsafe lid are ideal for taking

lunches to work for microwave reheating.

    Decor Microsafe lids

The Microsafe lids allow use of the Thermoglass dishes in the

microwave for cooking and quick reheating(note the lids are not

to be used in conventional or toaster ovens).

The Microsafe lids also allow meals prepared in the Thermoglass

dishes to be stored in the fridge and freezer. Before refrigerating or

freezing, allow the Thermoglass dish to cool.

    Steam release vent

Before microwaving, put the Microsafe lid on the Thermoglass dish

and click the vent open to release steam during cooking.

After removing the Thermoglass dish from the microwave, leave the

vent open while the food is very hot to allow it to rest. For storage in the

fridge and freezer, allow the food to cool then close the vent.

    Decor silicone trivet

Always use the silicone trivet for resting hot Thermoglass dishes

on the bench or table to prevent damage.

    Decor Microsafe jug

The Microsafe jug is handy for quickly preparing recipe ingredients,

such as sauces and custards, for cooking or complementing meals

    prepared in the Thermoglass dishes.

Note: The Microsafe jug is not included in the Value Offer set

    but is available separately.

Very important: Before use, please read the

usage and safety guidelines on pages 18 and 19.

    Simple and delicious recipes

I really love these Decor Thermoglass

tempered glass dishes. They are easy

to handle and have a nicely rounded square

shape so food cooks evenly in your oven

or microwave. They also have a nice solidfeel and all the qualities of pure glass.

The Microsafe lids add so much versatility

because you can use the Thermoglass

dishes in the microwave for cooking and

reheating and you can store prepared meals

or leftovers in the fridge or freezer. I hope you

enjoy these recipes that I have especially created

for the Thermoglass dishes they give you

an interesting choice of simple, delicious meals.

    Chicken and Rice Slice

    Serves 4.

    Preparation time 15 minutes.

    Cooking time about 25 minutes.

We used the 1 litre Thermoglass dish,Microsafe lid, a mixing bowl and Decor trivet.

250 grams chicken sausages (about 3)

    2 eggs

    2 spring onions, finely chopped

    1 small grated carrot

2 tablespoons sweet Thai chilli sauce

    1 tablespoon light soy sauce

    2 teaspoons brown sugar

    1 tablespoon cornflour

    1 cup cooked rice

Slit the sausages along the skin and discard skin. Put sausages into a bowl

and mash a little to break them into pieces. Add eggs, spring onion and

carrot and mix well (easiest with your hands). Season with chilli and soy

and add brown sugar and cornflour. Add rice and mix again. Sausages are

usually quite salted so you should not need to add any extra salt. Put all into

the Thermoglass dish and cover with baking paper. Bake in a moderate

oven for about 25 minutes. Rest hot Thermoglass dish on Decor trivet.

Let rest for 5 minutes. Remove the paper and let cool. Cover securely with

the Microsafe lid, steam vent closed. Keeps well in the refrigerator for up

    to 48 hours.

    To reheat

Click open steam vent on the Microsafe lid and microwave on high until

warmed through. Rest hot Thermoglass dish on Decor trivet.

Note: For a work lunch, spoon portion into a 540 ml Thermoglass dish

and cover with Microsafe lid for reheating in microwave. Before reheating,

    Lamb Stew with Vegetables

    Serves 4.

    Preparation time 20 minutes.

    Cooking time about 45 minutes.

We used the 2 litre Thermoglass dish, Microsafe lid,a saucepan and Decor trivet.

500 grams diced lamb, fat removed

    2 tablespoons plain flour

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 onion, roughly diced

    2 cloves garlic, diced

2 cups chicken stock1 tablespoon tomato paste

    2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

    1 thinly sliced carrot

    1 thinly sliced parsnip

    1 stalk celery, finely sliced

    1 cup frozen peas

    3 tablespoons chopped parsley

Toss the lamb in flour until lightly coated. Heat oil

in a saucepan and cook the onion and garlic until

softened. Turn up the heat and add the lamb, stirring

until it is coloured and separating so the pieces are not

sticking together. Pour in stock. Add tomato paste and

Worcestershire sauce and stir in the sticky glaze that will have

formed on the base of the pan. When it has come to a boil, cover.

Cook gently for about 20 minutes, giving it an occasional stir until the lamb is

tender. If there is too much juice, cook for 5 minutes (uncovered) to reduce

it. How long the lamb takes depends on the cut of lamb you have used.

Let cool. Mix in vegetables and spoon into the Thermoglass dish. Cover

securely with the Microsafe lid, steam vent open. Cook on high in the

microwave for about 12 minutes until piping hot and vegetables are tender.

Rest hot Thermoglass dish on Decor trivet to cool. Store refrigerated with

lid on, steam vent closed. Keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.

Reheat as much as needed at a time.

    To reheat

Click open steam vent on the Microsafe lid and microwave on high

until piping hot. Or remove Microsafe lid and reheat in a moderate oven

(180C) for about 12 minutes until hot through. Rest hot Thermoglass

    dish on Decor trivet.

Note: For a work lunch, spoon portion into a 540 ml Thermoglass dish

and cover with Microsafe lid for reheating in microwave. Before reheating,

    click open steam vent.
