STITCH N’ RIP FASHIONS Barbara Crawford (booth #706)Sweatshirts are not the only transformation in the fashion world, long sleeved t-shirts can make really cute and creative medium weight jackets, that are long, that go well with leggings and jeans and just about anything! Stitch n’ rip is a fun sewing experience and therapeutic! Creating a scene, windows, pockets as well. Add embroidery and applique’. Join Barbara for an hour of inspiration and fun! Classroom #2, 1:00 pm THE MAGIC OF HAND EMBROIDERY Barbara Crawford (booth #706)Take a plain surface and create a more intricate and dimensional design. Embroidery is the best way to add a signature to a garment, or quilt or any design! It’s that magic touch that takes the design to another level. This is not Grandma’s tea towels or hankies, it's embroidery that is added to raise the surface, to enrich a design by adding it to needle felting, applique, to quilts, garments just about anything, using different threads, and mixing both machine and hand embroidery. Barbara will have models on hand to pass around. You will learn how to make a blanket stitch, french knots, and lazy daisy stitch by doing it your self in the class, we will provide supplies there for you to use and learn a few stitches during the class.Classroom #2, 11:00 am
