VOLUME LXVIII No. 7 www.yubacitymoose.org November 2016
Wow the season is flying by and it's getting really busy. The WOTM has the Fall Fashion Show and Salad Luncheon on Saturday, November 5th at noon. Tickets are in the mail; I hope you'll join us for some fun fashions and a delicious variety of salads. Member Appreciation dinner for all Moose members in good standing is Monday, November 7th. We are honoring all Veterans with dinner on Friday, November 11th. Joe and Tara Crogan are preparing Thanksgiving dinner for only $5.00 on Thursday, November 24th. They are in need of kitchen help, servers, and lots of donated food. And, don't forget – our roof is in dire need of repair. Bill and Larry are doing a great job of selling tickets, making dinner, and anything else they can think of to fix our roof. Thank you all for your support of our home away from home. Till next time. Senior Regent, Doreen Rosales

Saturday the 19th is the Fellowship Dinner Dance to welcome our new fellow Travis O’Neal. Thanksgiving is always busy. Please look for the sign-up sheet for donations and volunteers. The holiday season is fast approaching and tickets for the New Years Eve Dinner Dance will be available for purchase soon. A reminder all members of the order current with their membership dues can attend and are welcome to the membership meetings on the 1st and 3rd of every month. My Super Moose for November is Bob Criss. Since Bob had joined he has stepped right in and volunteered for several functions. Thank You Bob! Fraternally yours, Russ Cote' Governor
This Publications Purpose: The Moose organization no matter how complex it might appear is simply people working to-gether for a common cause: “One For All and All for One”. At Yuba City Lodge No. 1204 our pur-pose—enjoying brotherly love and fraternalism within our present membership while we broaden our defending circle with new broth-ers—is reflected in the accomplishments we complete and impression we give to our com-munity. We are people serving people. The Moose Call is part of our shared effort. By pre-senting your Lodge’s goals, achievements and upcoming social gatherings, it will strive to in-form you, enlighten you and assist you. By do-ing so, this publication will achieve its purpose.
If you know of something that needs to be in-cluded in this monthly publication, please e-mail me at [email protected] It is my goal to make this “your” newsletter. Thank you, MOOSE CALL STAFF

Thanksgiving Day Volunteers and
Donations Needed!
The Moose Lodge annual Thanksgiving Dinner is one of the biggest fundraisers for the lodge. The dinner also provides an affordable place to eat if you don’t
want to cook and/or you may not have family around to have dinner with.
For its continued success we need at least 8 volun-teers and a variety of food donated. The food donated
includes Turkeys, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, cran-berry sauce, pumpkin pies and much more. We have a donation sign-up sheet located in the lobby. If you
are unable to donate food we are accepting cash donations to purchase the food.
If you would like to volunteer or make a donation please contact Tara Croghan 530-632-1460.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
