Cohorting in PCH

Variability due to reason for isolation and facility design etc.

• Red unit

• Isolation as contacts

• Ask about the details at your site

• Clear signage

• Pay attention to PPE changes

• If you see protocols being breached, discuss with staff as you observe it

• Notify site leadership so that issues can be addressed

Other supports• If you would like to have a buddy shift in a

non-outbreak PCH before you are redeployed, contact Laurel Rose Regional Manager of Rehab and Geriatric Services

• A rotation of home care personnel who have experience working in PCH will be available to talk to you – ask your manager

• If you do not get an orientation raise the issue to Shelby McLeod

• Use the contact numbers on your CRU information forms for other site specificissues
