Woven Fabric
Fabrics are composed of two sets of yarns. One set of yarns, the warp, runs along the length of
the fabric. The other set of yarns, the fill or weft, is perpendicular to the warp. Woven fabrics are
held together by weaving the warp and the fill yarns over and under each other.
The woven plastic fabric is produced using HDPE or PP in wide range of specifications
depending upon the end use application.

High Speed Tape Stretching Lines incorporate state-of-the-art technology. The tape extrusion
lines are designed to meet the highest performance and quality requirement with maximumefficiency and flexibility while using minimum raw material and energy. The design incorporates

The extruder with the help of Hi-Q computer optimized screw
ensures optimum melt homogenization and conveys the melt to theT-die. Universal screws are the best choice for special applications
with extremely low / high denier of tapes whereas Barrier screws arerecommended for tape deniers used for normal sack applications.The T-die features computer designed flow geometry for optimum
mass flow distribution and minimum gauge variation across the
width. Other attractive features of the extruder are grooved bush
feeding, cold start protection, micro-processor based PID controls, melt temperature, backpressure indicator and pneumatic movement of the extruder cart.

A new benchmark in tape winding technologyLOHIA autoroto is the latest in the series of tape winders for producing quality bobbins of
polyolefin flat / fibrillated tapes. This technology enables automatic changeover of bobbins andis especially designed to meet the ever increasing demand of efficient and cost effective tape
winding. With over 25 years of experience, constant product innovation and development in tape
winders, the Lohia Autoroto benefits the producers in the following ways:
Lowers operational costs Improves extrusion and loom efficiency Provides better quality of woven fabric Winding speeds of 600 m/min.
Salient features:
Automatic changeover from full to empty bobbin, including yarn transfer. Equal length of tape in all bobbins. The length / build up time is user adjustable. The winders can be divided into one to four groups for producing different length, diameter of
bobbins (e.g. warp, weft).
Electronic gearing between cam and spindle which lowers tension variation in unwinding. User adjustable and dynamic change of winding ratio to optimize bobbin build-up in terms of
crossing angle. This makes the process of winding tape of different specifications easier and less
time consuming.
200mm diameter bobbins for circular looms with 35mm cores. This corresponds to a weight ofabout 5kg., the maximum in the industry, useful for warp bobbins and other possible
applications.
320mm diameter bobbins for flat looms and other applications with 90/82.5mm cores. Thiscorresponds to package weight upto 18 kgs.

tension. Magnetic sensor and Color sensor used in the weaving machine helps in producing

The tension of warp tapes is regulated via load cell type positive in-feed system, supplied asstandard with the machine which produces fabric of improved quality. Speed of inlet rollers is

LENO 4
LENO 4 is designed to weave fabric with open / semi-dense weave using PP / HDPE tapes.
Woven bags produced from such leno fabric are ideally suited for packaging of citrus fruits,
vegetables and similar other produces which are perishable like onion / garlic etc. Unlike knittedmaterial, leno fabric can also be made from low cost PP tapes and is smooth, with no knots to
bruise the products. Fabric constructions produced from this machine with very open, semi-denseor almost dense circular fabric makes the fabric also suitable for covering application also in
addition to woven leno bags application. This versatile machine is most appropriate for the
seasonal requirements of leno fabric bags and on specific demand of customer; option isavailable to convert the same machine for producing normal woven fabric by changing some
parts.

Extrusion Coating Lines
Extrusion Coating Machine coatex 1500/90 from has been developedfor extrusion coating lines on flat woven fabric upto 1500 mm width and circular woven fabric in
widths upto 700 mm with consistently high quality and efficiency of production. It is capable ofcoating both sides of the circular fabric in a single operation. This high speed Extrusion Coating
Machine produces coated fabric with precise film thickness and is the latest development in the
field of extrusion coating lines technology. It also includes the features of semi-automatic rollchange during unwinding and rewinding while the machine is in operation. Coating of PP on PP
fabric and LDPE on HDPE fabric is possible without changing the screw.
Unwinding Unit
Coatex extrusion coating machine is equipped with an unwind
system which has two pneumatic shafts. The fabric rolls are loaded
onto unwind stands, which can be laterally positioned. The alternate
use of two positions enables efficient continuous operation,minimized waste and uniform product quality. For semi-automatic
roll splicing, the fabric web in use, and nearing its end, is affixed tothe reserve web by means of a splicer assembly. To ensure constant
tension during unwinding, a load cell is used which helps in
controlling the brake power of the disc brake in the unwinder. Edge Position Control suppliedwith the machine, maintains the edge position of the unwinding roll by lateral adjustment of the
fabric roll with the help of edge sensors.
ExtruderThe extruder unit is equipped with screw for high output andexcellent melt-quality. This uniform melt-quality is achieved by
proper mixing of melt, uniform melt-temperature and by controlled
heating and cooling zones. The Extruder and the coating die areinstalled above the laminator and are automatically withdrawn

sidewise from their working position whenever the line is stopped. The coating die has a profile
for perfect flow properties of the melt with highly polished flow channels.
Pre-heating/ Lamination unit
The pre-heating/ Lamination unit is equipped with a large diameterhard-chrome plated chill roll, with double walled spiral construction
and works with high water flow rate to achieve a narrow
temperature tolerance on the chilled roll surface. The internally
cooled impression roller and back-up roller assembly provideconsistency of the contact pressure. Impression roller and back-up
roller are automatically retracted on every stoppage of the machine.
A draw preheating roller is placed upstream of the laminator to
ensure good adhesion of the coating.
Fabric Reversing UnitThe circular woven fabric is reversed during running through a turnbar arrangement so as to coat on both sides of the fabric tube in a
single operation. This helps in saving of space, energy and alsogives flexibility of production.
Rewinding Unit
The continuous rewind system uses an AC motor driven contactroller for wrinkle free rewinding of the coated fabric. For rollsplicing, the web is automatically cut with the help of a rodless
cylinder; the beginning of the new web is pasted to the new core and
the full roll is lifted by the swivel arms and delivered onto theplatform. The winding shaft, once removed, is again prepared and
transferred to the roll change position.

Bag Conversion LineConversion lines from have been developed for producing bottom
folded and sewn woven sack made from roll of tubular woven PP/HDPE fabric. bcs 850/40
model from LOHIA is a high speed machine suitable for conventional bag application and isdesigned for cross cutting the tubular fabric, bottom folding, sewing and stacking. This new
generation machine with servo and PLC controls is designed for fabric width upto 850 mm and
with speeds upto 40 bags/min. depending upon material, width of the fabric, number of folds,stitches etc. This bag making machine is most appropriate for working with un-laminated fabric
but can also be converted to use laminated fabric on the specific demand of the customer.

Accumulator UnitThe accumulator unit is provided to accommodate and keep reserve
of any extra length of fabric opened during continuous unwinding
and is also helpful in maintaining uniform tension of fabric. Printmark sensor is supplied as standard with the machine to cut the
fabric as per marking on pre-printed fabric roll.
Cutting Unit
Machine is equipped with a hot cutting unit suitable for un-laminated fabric in conjunction with mouth opening device which
helps in easier opening of leading edge of the cut length. Servomotor used is helpful in cutting the fabric of pre-set length with
minimum cut length variation.
Bottom Folding & Sewing
Unit
These cut lengths are then transferred to the bottom folding andsewing unit with the help of transfer conveyor. With the help ofsensors provided, the sewing machine can be automatically stopped
for the duration when no cut lengths are received from cutting unit
in case of any problem or exhaustion of fabric roll etc. Variablefrequency drive system is provided to synchronize the cutting unit,
conveyor and sewing unit. The thread cutter unit is operated through
an electronic sensor.
Bag Stacking & Conveyor
UnitThe finished bags are discharged onto a delivery conveyor after
counting and stacking the pre-set number of bags.
