in his right eye, as his left eye has been removed. Because he is such a high-risk case, he has no option but to use very potent immunosuppressant drugs for a whole year so as to help prevent graft rejection. Besides corticosteriod drops, he is also on an immunomodulator. The drug has horrible side effects, but thanks to the AIM products, he has managed it well.

As we look back and see how far we have come, we are so grateful that we never go a day without our AIM products. They have kept us so healthy. When you are exposed to or confronted with an unexpected crisis, your physical body needs to be strong enough to fight the battle. When our physical bodies are well looked after, it also supports a healthier mental and emotional attitude. And lastly, we are strengthened spiritually by support and prayers.

Thank you to our family and our AIM family for journeying with us! We appreciate you all so much. Get out there and spread the word. AIM is our partner in health and wealth.

—Joan van Rensburg and family Chairman’s Club Directors Pretoria, South Africa

Message

Last year held many trials and tribulations. Chris had at least seven eye operations, and our family stood in the gap to support him in both his professional and personal life. In one instant, our lives changed forever! Nobody is exempt from difficult times, but it is a choice as to how we deal with them. We can allow negative emotions to take root, or we use the trials as a time of learning and growing. Reflection is important. You can choose to use any situation for good.

We have also had our loyal and faithful friends who became AIM Members support us during these difficult times. We have also made many new friends from around the world who carry us in their thoughts and prayers. We surely are part of a winning team!

My journey with AIM started when I joined in 1997, and it immediately became ingrained into our lifestyle and has been this way ever since.

While our journey was not always easy, it was interspersed with many blessings. First, we would like to honor the Lord for His continual grace. We are also so grateful to The AIM Companies, its products and the Members who have become an integral part of our lives.

Last year, we were led to start Chrysalis, an organization built on the foundation of supporting all AIM Members with business-building principles. We recognized the need to encourage AIM Members to become more familiar with the Network Marketing Concept and to embrace the principles and opportunity of free enterprise. Our mission is to see AIM grow and expand, and the only way we can do this is if we become more business focused and attract more entrepreneurs, so that we can leave a legacy for the next generation. Chrysalis represents transformation, a new beginning, hope and a future.

Exactly two minutes before midnight on December 31, 2015, a beautiful butterfly entered our home. I was inspired, watching this butterfly fly in from the dark, a reminder that the future held new opportunities!

In December, Chris had a cornea transplant, a last resort to try and regain some vision

Made from raw, young barley plants, BarleyLife is a superfood break-

through like none other. Armed with its robust antioxidant profile, BarleyLife plays an integral role in the fight against inflammation and acid buildup. It’s also the most nutritionally dense superfood on the planet. One small four-gram serving packs a nutritional wallop, and it only has fifteen calories. If you’re looking to start a healthy journey with AIM, look no further than our flagship product.

“Until the age of 30, I suffered from sinus and allergy problems. I would get several sinus infections throughout the year and would take antibiotics over and over again, but it never got better. In 1998, I decided to take the BarleyLife products, slowly at first. When I started taking full servings of BarleyLife, my sinus and allergy problems began to diminish. I have been doing better since and very rarely have sinus and allergy problems anymore.”

—Conrad Carnes, AIM Member

All the benefits and nutritional brawn of BarleyLife with a taste that’s sweet enough for

kids but refined enough for adults—this version of BarleyLife utilizes the flavor and nutritional intensity of acerola cherries as well as seventeen other fruits and vegetables. It also provides a significant amount of vitamin C. It’s definitely a crowd-pleaser with its fruity kick.

“Our son, Brady, had part of his adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears. He needed the surgery due to fluid buildup. The doctors prepared us by saying he would be sore for the next few days. They also said to expect swelling, bad breath, a fever and nose bleeding. We were told to expect a week for things to return to normal. So you can imagine our delight when Brady started feeling well while in the hospital. He kept saying he was ready to go home. He didn’t take any pain medication! After we returned home, Brady played with his toys and ran around the house. We waited for him to complain or tire, but he never did. No symptoms ever appeared. The next day, Brady wanted to go to school. The doctor said it was okay. The shocked school nurse said she had never seen that before. My wife and I concluded our son’s quick recovery was due to BarleyLife Xtra.”

Research has shown that the flavanols in cocoa promote vascular health by increasing

the bioavailability of nitric oxide. This may have applications for everything from blood pressure, to brain perfusion to exercise and kidney health. Additionally, our cocoa-licious friend here provides the flavonoid and nutritional power of green vegetables. Kids like it, too!

“CoCoa LeafGreens is one of my favorite AIM products! I love the combination of rich cocoa goodness with the wide variety of nutrients of LeafGreens! CoCoa LeafGreens is so delicious and packed full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. I like to add an additional amount of ProPeas, for more protein. My kids readily drink CoCoa LeafGreens. They think it is the best chocolaty beverage and don’t realize they are consuming their entire serving of greens. CoCoa LeafGreens has become my mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. I need the extra support of the iron provided by the spinach and broccoli. I start my day with a glass of LeafGreens and BarleyLife. By adding CoCoa LeafGreens to my regimen, I am no longer anemic.”

—Allyce Mullenbach, AIM Preferred Member

Getting your daily dose of greens has never been so easy. LeafGreens is

made from the leaves (or sprouts) of five different superfoods: Swiss chard, broccoli, arugula, spinach, barley and kale. With a refreshing citrus taste, this unique green drink harnesses the nutritional potential of flavonoids like quercetin, kaempferol and sulforaphane to keep you healthy and energized.

“I’ve been using the AIM products for about 5 years. I used to get sinus infections twice a year at the change of the seasons. Since starting LeafGreens, I have had only one sinus infection. I have a smoothie every morning which is a part of a healthy lifestyle and helps to get my body working the way it is supposed to be working. My son also has allergies. He used to have to take allergy medication twice a day. He now uses the LeafGreens and has to take medication only after he cuts the grass.”

JuSTCarrots®AIM PROPEASAIM

Apart from providing a boatload of natural vitamin A through beta-carotene,

Just Carrots contains a veritable bonanza of antioxidant-goodness. Loaded with carotenoids like lutein and zeaxanthin, carrots have long been lauded for their ability to maintain healthy eyes and skin and can assist in the construction of a stronger immune system.

“I have been taking Just Carrots off and on since about 1996! I am 56 now and still have great eyesight! I have only in the past few years started wearing readers! AIM products are a daily part of my life, and I couldn’t be as healthy and youthful without them! Thank you, AIM!”—Zach Thornburg, Preferred Member

For weight management, there is no better tool than protein. Pea protein works

especially well as an appetite suppressant, but it can also be used to bulk up those muscles after an intense workout. No matter if you’re making gains or losing weight, ProPeas offers a clean, premium and vegan source of protein for optimum whole-body nutrition.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve had slight sugar issues. To control them, I have to eat a breakfast that contains both a carbohydrate and a protein. This keeps my sugar levels balanced for the morning. I started taking ProPeas and LeafGreens this past fall mixed in either almond milk or raw unpasteurized dairy milk. I found that this combination was perfect for holding my sugar levels for 4 hours. I was thrilled and there was a small side benefit. My fingernails were strong and healthy all winter. I love ProPeas and LeafGreens for breakfast!”

RediBeets®AIMRed

Rush ™

AIM

RediBeets is AIM’s first beet juice product. Although it contains fewer nitrates than

Red Rush, it can still be employed for all those science-backed, beet-related health benefits like blood-pressure management, arterial stiffness and improved blood flow. Additionally, RediBeets maintains the enzymatic activity of beets and mixes easily with the other powders to form great-tasting beverages like the Garden Trio.

“For over six years, I suffered from anemia, struggling with its debilitating symptoms like being lethargic, totally lacking energy and even getting depressed. I tried many things, such as eating organic liver and taking BarleyLife. But nothing seemed to be working. Then at one of the kitchen meetings we were listening to a testimonial CD and somebody mentioned that the Garden Trio had helped with anemia. I started in November 2015, taking it twice per day. Within two months, for the first time in many years, I was no longer anemic. So in my case the BarleyLife by itself didn’t do it but adding Just Carrots and RediBeets finally did the trick.”

—Margie Hill, AIM Member

With 500 mg of dietary nitrate, Red Rush is the premiere beet juice shot on the

market. Dozens of clinical studies have shown that beet juice can enhance blood flow and, therefore, improve exercise performance, bolster muscle power and increase stamina. With the addition of cherry and lemon juice, Red Rush has a zesty tang and can appeal to a broader and fitness-minded audience.

“As an athlete, I’m always looking to maximize my performance. I started adding beets to my diet and felt an improvement in my endurance. When I found Red Rush, I was excited because now I could get those same benefits but in an even more concentrated form. The Red Rush shots are convenient to use and save me time. Whether it’s pre-workout or pre-race, I keep it simple. I drink a Red Rush shot a few hours before and push myself to the limit!”

Betty Ann Brush was born with a 1 in a 1,000 chance of living. She came into the world with a cancerous tumor growing near her left eye. The tumor was surgically removed. Radiation and cobalt treatments were given when she was only six weeks old. It was confirmed that she was legally blind in her left eye. Diagnosed with anemia, jaundice and low blood pressure, Betty was burdened with even more life-threatening health problems when she was still an infant.

When Betty reached school age, her educational years were affected by an inability to remember what she learned. “I failed grades one and two,” Betty stated. “The teachers thought I was lazy, but I just couldn’t remember anything.”

At her Catholic school, Betty was allowed to pass grades on the strength of her artwork. She loved creating art. When she later switched to a public school, her test results were graded as to what she could remember.

By the age of thirty, Betty had had over thirty operations for a variety of maladies. “So many health issues affected my mind,” she admitted. One of the ailments that affects her to this day is a nerve disorder known as neuropathy. Muscle twitching is just one of many symptoms. “My body jumps day and night. And I’m a light sleeper. I feel lucky if I get two hours of sleep a night.”

Running her own beauty shops for over thirty years, Betty needed something to calm her nerves. Fortunately, she came across Composure®. She noticed that it really helped with her ‘body jumps.’ “I felt a whole lot better. If the body jumps are not severe, I take Composure just before I go to bed,” Betty explained. “But when they’re really bad, I take it an hour before bedtime. I take it during the night, too.”

She finds that the muscle twitching increases whenever she eats sugary snacks, so Betty has tried to eliminate them from her diet.

To help maintain her intense schedule at the beauty shop, Betty took BarleyLife® to give her energy. “I could not do without BarleyLife.”

In 1993, Betty got married and closed her beauty shop. Another huge change came

AIM Group Builder Leaette Braswell of Eastman, Georgia is eighty-seven years young. She was a second grade school teacher for thirty-two years. After retiring, Leaette taught General Educational Development (GED) for a local prison program for six years. When this ended, she tutored for three years at a middle school. Presently, Leaette is substitute teaching three days a week at the local high school. To repeat, she is eighty-seven years young!

Since 1996, Leaette has been taking the Garden Trio, later adding Proancynol 2000, FloraFood, Herbal Fiberblend and fit ‘n fiber to her AIM nutritional intake. She gives God all the credit for her daughter-in-law Marcia Braswell (AIM Director) being led to share the AIM products with her in 1996.

Leaette and her ninety-one-year-old sister recently received a National Alumni award from Brewton Parker College. They will travel there in April 2016 to be presented their awards personally.

Leaette says she never feels bad and considers herself to be blessed. She is so thankful for AIM products and shares them with others.

The Healthy Art of Betty Ann Brushback into her life. “Art was such an important part of my life when I was younger,” she recalled. “I found an evening art class held in a material shop and began taking lessons.”

The oil, acrylic and watercolor art that Betty has produced since 1995 reflects the spirit of expression from a God-given talent that started to bloom in her childhood. She has had many exhibitions and received numerous awards over the years.

Unfortunately, Betty had to stop painting for five years. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Betty discovered that oil paints were toxic and stopped using them. “I had to have a mastectomy but decided on no chemotherapy or radiation,” Betty stated. “I had been taking very little BarleyLife at the time, but I sure took a lot afterward!”

Now at the age of seventy-six, Betty maintains her quality of life with the help of the before mentioned AIM products as well as Herbal Fiberblend® and Bear Paw Garlic®. “I’m not on any medication,” she said.

AIM Member Frances Grafton of Blythe-wood, South Carolina had struggled with a number of illnesses that weakened her immune system during her lifetime, including arthritis, lupus and Raynaud’s disease. Then in early 1998, she was diagnosed as having non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer that begins in the immune system’s white blood cells known as lymphocytes.

Biopsies revealed that tumors were growing inside of her. One was located near the jugular vein. Surgery was scheduled in August to remove the tumor; however, during the operation the surgeon sliced her jugular vein. Fortunately, a specialist was on hand to repair the damage. Even so, the prognosis was not good. “I had stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma,” Frances stated, “and my doctor told me I had two to six months to live.”

Thinking that she was going to die, her son and daughter-in-law decided that Frances should live with them in Myrtle Beach. “I went to the beach one day and had a long talk with my Lord Jesus. I told Him that I couldn’t handle this alone, that cancer was bigger than me, and if I was to live, He would have to help me.”

In Myrtle Beach, Frances found a wonderful physician who was en-couraging when she wanted to try alternative medicine along with the typical treatment for cancer. “I needed some thing natural that would help,” Frances stated. “Chemotherapy practical ly kills you, and I had radiation in January 1999 that burned out my thyroid in the process.” She began going to a number of meetings where natural ways of battling cancer were discussed. “I started juicing a variety of greens, including Swiss chard, kale, and lettuces.

After meeting AIM Blue Diamond Director Charlie Brown, who used to have Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Frances began taking AIM’s concentrated barley grass powder. By May 1999, she was in remission and able to return to her own home.

“I felt like I was over lymphoma from all the juicing and BarleyLife®,” Frances said. “I felt good. But after eleven years of this routine, I stopped taking it consistently. In 2012, the cancer came back but not as aggressive as before. I think BarleyLife is the reason.” Frances went back on BarleyLife, taking daily servings of two to three tablespoons mixed in water. “I don’t have any more tumors,” she said. “This was confirmed by a cancer doctor in South Carolina.”

At the age of seventy-seven, Frances is pleased to say “I’m healthy and able do what I want to do—drive my car, clean my gutters, do quilting, whatever. BarleyLife really does

do it.”

A couple hundred years ago, Americans migrated west in search for gold in California and Alaska. They crossed jagged and unforgiving mountains, suffered harsh snows and weathered cruel desert heat all in the search of a brighter future. Today, that entrepreneurial, frontiersman spirit continues on the Internet. There’s money to be earned there; all that’s needed are the right tools and some elbow grease.

The GoBarleyLife marketing platform is a ready-made, easy-to-use tool that can turn your phone, laptop or computer desk into a thriving business hub. The best part is that you don’t have to be a technology whiz to figure this thing out. If you can post a link on Facebook and send an email, you have all the necessary skills.

This new platform mirrors the early days of marketing BarleyLife--hand someone a testimony or a datasheet, and they’d read it, then come back and purchase product or sign up as a Member. With this new breakthrough technology, we’ve found a way to replicate that business model online. The platform offers several pathways for Members to engage clients, sell products and sign up new people.

In short, the system works like this. A Member subscribes to the service—there will be a small monthly fee to offset the cost of the third-party software that AIM leases—which will grant the Member access to a back office and a large selection of marketing materials. The Member then chooses the materials that best suits his or her needs and places those materials on Facebook, a chat room, a personal site or in an email. When a prospective client visits the link, they will receive information about Barleylife and be offered the opportunity to purchase. If the prospect does, the credit automatically goes to the Member who shared the materials (because every link is coded to the subscribing Member who placed it). And that’s just the beginning.

The platform also encourages prospects to sign up and become Members, and if they have questions about the process, the prospective clients can contact the subscribing Member through the platform. There are dozens of other features as well: text message notifications, the ability to track leads online, pre-written autoresponder notifications, a contact management system, the technology to invite people to webinars and get credit when they sign up as new Members during the webinars, mass emailing and more. The GoBarleyLife platform takes all the guesswork and hassle out of Internet marketing and is great for beginners but has applications for anyone looking to expand their business online.

Additionally, it will put the power of online sales into the hands of the Members. Any passive sales—basically Internet walk-ins—made off the online marketing materials will be shared with GoBarleyLife.com subscribers, eliminating any concern of online competition between the corporate body and the membership. The GoBarleyLife platform is another extension of our motto “In Partnership for Life.”

I first took Herbal Fiberblend in 1993 after connecting with a Chinese doctor. I had just gotten off narcotics. The doctor explained that in China, there’s no multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia or other common diseases of the West. Too many sources of food in the USA contain hormones.

After taking Herbal Fiberblend for the first time, I had a bowel movement a few days later. I was amazed. The stool was encrusted with the darkest, blackest digested food waste. A later bowel movement came out as though a mold had been made of the inner shape of my colon. Herbal Fiberblend cleaned that well without giving me any cramps, literally scraping off everything that had

built up over the years. It removed parasites as well. My doctor had told me that I was not getting enough mineral and vitamin B absorption which I felt was due to this encrustation of waste on the colon walls.

I have only a few companies that I deal with; AIM is one of those amongst the finest. It’s amazing. Keep up the good work!

I’m seventy-four years old and in better health now than when I was thirty-five. It was in 1975 that I was diagnosed with acute ulcerative colitis and hospitalized in Toronto for six weeks. They put me on prednisone and other corticosteroids and told me there was no cure. I

didn’t believe them. Three years later, I ended up having a 5-week stay in a Nipigon hospital. Since then, I haven’t taken any more corticosteroids.

In 1992, Leith Hill (AIM Star Sapphire Director), who was my cousin by marriage, sent me some AIM products—for free! I thank God for

Leith. Herbal Fiberblend® was an answer to a prayer. I’m a Christian, and I said to God, “I’m sick of being sick and tired.”

I started taking Herbal Fiberblend regularly. The results were dramatic. I lost twenty-five pounds and found that I had much more energy. I kept on

taking it, and I’ve been taking it ever since.

Not only has it helped me, I introduced it to my seven children as well as my twelve grandchildren. It seems that

my family has bowel issues related to anxiety and stress, so I’m encouraging them all to take it. My daughter Joyce

is seeing a difference and giving it to her daughter. One granddaughter with ulcerative colitis is showing improvement by taking Herbal Fiberblend.

Obstacle course racing is an up-and-coming sport, growing exponentially in popularity. The competition is fierce, but the activity is enjoyable and accessible enough that any fitness-minded person who wants to can sign up and spend an afternoon leaping walls, swinging from monkey bars or crawling through mud beneath barbed wire. In 2011, one million Americans participated in an obstacle course race of some type and the number has grown from there.

With that in mind, The AIM Companies is proud to announce our newest sponsored athlete: AIM Member Sue Phillips-Leclerc, an obstacle course racer from New York State. If she looks familiar, that’s because she’s a long-time Red Rush athlete who was also featured in an article alongside her obstacle-course-racing daughter. Sue’s positive attitude and dedication to fitness and nutrition made her an ideal candidate for sponsorship.

“Nutrition has always been very important to me,” she said. “I find that balance is the key. I try to make healthy choices for most of my meals but definitely like ‘treats’ that aren’t the healthiest. I had to stick to a strict diet for figure competitions, —Sue is a former professional bodybuilder—and it was very hard for me. The great thing about obstacle course racing is I find that I don’t have to obsess about my diet. The training keeps me pretty stoked.”

In 2016, Sue has her sights set on the Master’s podium at the Battlefrog Racing series and the Spartan Races, but she’s most excited about the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in Toronto. The OCRW is only two years old, but it’s already Sue’s favorite due to the variety of obstacles and the chance to meet and run with elite athletes from all around the world. She’s spent the winter months training hard for the upcoming season.

AIM Member/Athlete

Sue Phillips-Leclerc“I’m currently on a running

program to increase my mileage and trying like heck to get faster. I’ve never been a good runner or very fast, so this has been challenging for me. I’ve also continued with weight training and exercises to help increase my grip strength. I live in upstate NY, very close to the Adirondack Mountains, so trail running and hiking are a big part of my training as well.

“My husband has renovated our garage into an awesome OCR ‘Torture Chamber.’ There are uphill monkey bars, hanging items (nun-chakus, rings, cones, ropes, balls, etc.), a rowing machine, weights, incline trainers, climbing walls and various other apparatus to build grip strength. The climbing rigs are getting longer and more challenging at OCRs, so I am making sure that I’m prepared.”

Another way that she’s pre-paring for the races is through AIM nutrition and Red Rush. “The only supplements I take are protein, greens and Red Rush. After taking Red Rush for the first few workouts, the difference was considerable! Some mornings I wake up with muscle soreness to the point I don’t think I can train, and then I drink a Red Rush. It’s remarkable how it gets the blood flowing, and I can get a great workout in. I have never used another product so convenient and effective!”
