LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTER Dear Esplanade Residents, I am delighted to be appointed your Lifestyle Manager at Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes. I know what a wonderful job Christine has done as Lifestyle Manager and I hope to continue to put forth a social and active lifestyle for all of the homeowners. As we transition into phase 2, I look forward to having the majority of programming at the Amenity Center while adhering to all social distancing guidelines. We have a great schedule of events lined up to kick off October. Make sure to register for all events by the RSVP date as space is limited due to social distancing guidelines. There will be a Ladies Lunch Bunch outing to CJ’s on the Bay on Marco Island. In honor of “National Train Your Brain Day,” we will have a special trivia night which will include general knowledge and brain teaser questions. There will be prizes for the winner and runner up. We just had a successful food truck event with Three Little Birds, who served up delicious breakfast favorites. In honor of Oktoberfest, we will be having The Currywurst Food Truck specializing in German cuisine come on site. Don’t forget to register as space is limited! Another monthly tradition that we will be resuming is Movie Night which takes place every last Thursday of the month. Our movie this month will be “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” starring Tom Hanks. We will resume our social hour this month with a Haunted Halloween Happy Hour featuring music by singer and guitarist, Teddy Richards, who will be playing some “Monster Hits,” along with songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. Costumes are suggested, but not mandatory and there will be a prize awarded to best costume. As always, space is limited and registration is required. Lastly, we will host our annual HOWL-oween Pet Party where a special treat basket will be awarded to the best pet costume! Donations will be collected to benefit Humane Society Naples. I am looking forward to meeting all of the homeowners and continuing to bring together programs that meet everyone’s active lifestyle. If you have any suggestions, please reach out to me via email or in person. I will always try to incorporate residents’ suggestions into future calendars. It is also my goal to have a variety of programs that caters to everyone’s lifestyle and preferences, so your feedback will never go unnoticed with me! Stay safe everyone, and I look forward to meeting you at our next event! Kind regards, Tamara Sutton, Lifestyle Manager | [email protected]| (239) 494.3639

Dear Esplanade Residents, We are all pleased with the reopening of the Amenity Center and attempting to get back to some type of normalcy. With the reopening of common areas such as the main event room, card room, billiards room, and kitchen, they will be available at 50% capacity. Such common areas will have limited seating in order to adhere to social distancing. Please know residents and guests are required to wear masks indoors with the exception of those exercising in fitness areas while socially distanced 6’ apart. Disposable masks available upon request for those who don’t have one. Additional cleaning and sanitizing stations have been placed in various areas of the center as well. If you happen to notice anything that needs attention, please let us know so we can address it immediately.
Please note that ALL pressure washing has been completed throughout Esplanade. This includes the sidewalks (common areas) at the ends of the streets, the Fire Pit, and the pool deck.
As a friendly reminder, my hours at the Amenity Center are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. At 1:00 pm, I am making my rounds onsite, checking for violations, and addressing any landscape concerns that homeowners may have. Please feel free to email me ([email protected]) with any landscape concerns you have and I will address it with WLM.
The Neighborhood Watch sign has been installed just past the entry gate to the right. I am still attempting to obtain another sign to install at the back gate. Once we receive the sign, it will be installed.
Upcoming Meetings: The 2021 Budget Workshop has been scheduled for October 5th, 2020 at 6:00 pm and the Budget Approval Meeting is scheduled for October 21, 2020 at 6:00 pm. Both of these meetings will be via the Zoom application. I will send invitations to everybody once we are approaching those dates.
As always, I’m a phone call or email away. Kind regards, Linda Marcos, Community Association Manager | [email protected]
