What do we mean by Wellbeing?
Wellbeing is complex
COLLECTIVEIndividual
All scientific studies show that if we’re better connected to our families, our friends, our colleagues, our communities, & the land we live in - we’re more resilient to things that happen in our lives.
There is significant evidence showing that physical exercise & experiences can uplift our mood on a biological level. Keeping active is also crucial to health… “every hour seated cuts 22 mins from our life…”
Challenging yourself and getting outside your comfort zone is good for your wellbeing.
Comfort is dangerous.
It feels good to give. Everybody has something to offer. How will you play your part?
Be curious. Catch sight of the beautiful. Notice the changing seasons. Stop to smell the roses. Be aware of the world around you and what you are feeling. Reflecting on your experiences will help you appreciate what matters to you.
Wellbeing is also collective
Individual COLLECTIVE
Tell me how you feel when you’ve been really connected or active, when you’ve been learning, a time when you gave, or when you took the time to reflect?
Wellbeing can be improved through technology
