LibrePOS is a point of sale application designed for touch screens. It is the most popular open source POS and supports a wide variety of POS hardware like touch screens, receipt printers, customer displays, barcode scanners, scales, etc.
In this session we will present a general overview of the functionality and configuration possibilities of Librepos, how Librepos can work together with Openbravo and the different architectures that adapt to the size and needs of your business.

source POS and supports a wide variety of POS hardware like touch screens, receipt printers, customer displays, barcode scanners, scales, etc.

– First hosted in Sourceforge in Jan 2005– Near 100.000 downloads– Very active project. It has been in the position 17 in Sourceforge in the past months.– Large and active community in forums, trackers...– Name changed to Librepos in Aug 2007 due a trademark conflict. (Former Tina POS project)
