NCAA Eligibility Center
If you plan to play Division I or Division II sports at the collegiate
level, it is important that you register with the NCAA Clearinghouse. The NCAA Eligibility Center unveiled a new registration Website for
college-bound student athletes. The new Web address is www.eligibilitycenter.org.
Student athletes that have registered prior to the launch of the new Web site will be required to log into their current account (www.ncaaclearinghouse.net). They will be asked to verify their e-
mail address and select a new password. The information that was previously submitted will carry over to the new account.
QUESTA Foundation for Education is a not-for-profit organization
dedicated to helping Allen County high school students attain a college degree through loans and scholarships. Their primary program is the “1/2 Back Loan Program.” This unique student loan program is special because a portion of the loan (up to 50%) can be forgiven upon achieving certain criteria. This program awards student loans with a forgiveness aspect based on academic merit and financial need. If the student meets certain GPA requirements and return residency requirements, they can have up to half of their loan forgiven. If you would like a brochure, please see Mrs. Smeltzley. Further information and applications are available on their website at www.questafoundation.org.
The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne… has many scholarships available to seniors planning to attend
college. Check out their website at http://www.cfgfw.org/scholar-
college.html to see if you qualify!!! Most applications are available online. Mrs. Smeltzley has approximately 50 hardcopies (booklets) of the scholarship
information available as well if you are interested. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Smeltzley.
Planning to attend an out-of-state college? The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) is a tuition reduction
program that makes attending out-of-state colleges and universities more affordable for non-resident students. By enrolling in a MSEP
program at a participating institution, you will receive a reduced tuition
rate. To learn more, visit http://msep.mhec.org or contact Ms. Jennifer Dahlquist at (612)626-1602 or [email protected].
