IB Math Options:
Additional Choices:1. Some students double up and take Pre-Cal Pre-IB and AP Stats Junior year
in order to take AP Calculus Senior Year
2. Students who do not take Algebra 1 until 9th grade year must double up and take Pre-Calculus Pre-IB and AP Stats their senior year.
Only students who complete Algebra 1 and Geometry Pre-AP/IB in middle school are eligible to take the IB HL Math exam.
Bilingual students may take an HL Foreign Language Exam.
Appropriate substitutions will be made for other HL/SL Exams.

In order to earn an IB Diploma, the student must fulfill the following requirements:
Student must complete all assessment components for each of the six IB Subjects◦ Students must take at least 3 Higher Level (HL) IB Exams and 3 Standard
Level (SL) IB Exams.◦ IB Exams are scored on a scale of 1-7 and a 4 is considered the passing
score.◦ Students must accumulate a total of at least 24 points on the IB exam scores
and 12 of the 24 points must come from the HL exam scores.
Complete the additional IB Diploma Requirements◦ 150 Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) Hours◦ Extended Essay◦ Theory of Knowledge Class

How to Earn the IB Diploma:Sample 2
Rates for 2013-2014 School Year◦ $92 per exam◦ $75 Registration Fee
The registration fee is required for first time test takers and for Senior Certificate students.
Senior IB Diploma candidates that took exams junior year, do not have to pay the registration fee again.
◦ All registration and exam fee payments will be made through Total Registration on-line November 1 through November 12.
◦ Go to www.TotalRegistration.net/IB/444095 to register and pay for IB exams.
Scholarships are available. I have the IB Exam Scholarship Application available tonight if you need one.
IB Exam Costs
1. I will sit down with each IB student individually at the end of October to discuss IB exam registration and fill out the IB Exam Registration Form.
Juniors can take up to 2 IB exams if seat time requirement is fulfilled.
2. Your student will take the form home for you to sign and will need to return the white form to me by October 31.
3. You need to keep the yellow form to complete the registration process on the Total Registration website.
IB Exam Registration Process
Encourage your student to work through the difficulty of IB courses by Attending tutoring with teachers. Asking for help. Creating study groups for difficult subjects. Not procrastinating!
