Pindrop’s business Pindrop analyze voice and sound of caller and prevent company from suffering telephone fraud.

The main user is insurance enterprise,government agency,retailer,four bank of America.

Pindrop examine basic data such as signal place and number of phone and caller's voice.

Pindrop Analyzes frequency filter and codec data, packet loss,frame.

Their data makes risk profile. Risk profile suggests possibility of fraud.

Starry’s business

Starry Station is high speed, low cost and broadband connection service who is absolutely wireless.

Starry Station unnecessary complicated wiring such as router,modem,wire.

Starry’s technology

Starry set up wireless node on the roof of building in each city.

This node(Sttary beam) uses radio waves of wavelength beyond 30 GHz which is not used.

The radio waves reflects on building wall and reach user’s Starry Point.

Starry Point is put by window of user’s house and connected innovate Wi-Fi router which is called Starry Station.

Uber’s business model

Uber is the service which call taxi with a smartphone if you say easily.

You can designate on the map which location you want driver to come pick with a smartphone, and you can know the how long the taxi will arrive if you are in the service.

There is ride sharing called Uber-X and individual

can conduct business like taxi with private car.

The idea is to learn from the SV’s ecosystem and replicate the system in some local form in Japan.

Plan to start-up a Company in Japan It is important for start-uper to find a profitable idea, a suitable place choice, and a clear goal. Among Japanese universities, University of Aizu has a high percentage to start a business after graduation, and there are many successful cases.

・Do you think that Tokyo can ever rival SV?

I think Tokyo can ever rival SV. Reason: As I have said, Fukuoka City, Kyoto, Shibuya and many cities are trying to develop. For Japan where is a dense population, I believe it is easier to build a city with concentration of technologies.
