spective entry forms supplied. All unentered cattle and those missing their turn in the ballot will beoffered for sale at the
end of the catalogued entries.
No lots can leave the market without a ‘pass slip’ being issued by the main office
Purchasers have two working days from time of sale to satisfy themselves that all docu-mentation received is correct and any discrepancies must be notified to the auctioneers within that time limit. Paperwork must accompany livestock and if making multiple loads
please make sure that the paperwork is presented with the first load.

If you are a 1 year TB test holding, please ensure your cattle have been tested within the 60 days prior to sale date. Please bring a copy of your current TB Test Certificate with your passports and indicate on the blue entry form how many days remain on your

Christmas Dairy Sale at NWA Lancaster The Christmas Show and Sale of Dairy Cattle had a superb show of heif-ers forward before judge John Harrison of Penrith. Taking the overall Champion was the first place halter led heifer, Bilsrow Paulo Shower, from DJ & S Tomlinson, Bilsborrow. Taking the Reserve Champion rosette was the second place halter led heifer, Wyredale Sid Crocus 40, from MJ & H Atkinson, Quernmore. In the sale ring, no major headline prices to state, a good straight trade for all heifers, topping at £2220 for the 2nd place non-halter led heifer, lot 38, Witherslack Meridian Lynn from Messers Inman, Strickland Hill. The champion realised £1600, whilst the reserve realised £1880, selling to lo-cal buyers Mark and Peter Hewitt of Cockerham. Best heifers in excess of £1700, with straight heifers £1300-£1500 with an overall average of £1360.
