Our four treaty promises are: *Walking feet inside *Use your gentle Hands *Care for your friends and toys *Do what your teachers ask you We do this through discussion and experiences that deepen the children's understanding of our treaty! We are looking forward to a fun filled year! These two events are fundraisers for our kindy and go towards much need- ed resources for our children. Many hands make lighter work! Come and buy a sausage enter a team or two and enjoy some fun with the kindergarten community! We as a teaching team want to do our utmost to try and keep EVERYONE as healthy as we can, BUT to do this we need parents to follow guidelines set out from the District Health Board.
Keep your child at home if they:
Have green or yellow mucus coming from their nose.
Have signs of being unwell ie. Grizzly, Unsettled, listless or tired.
Have a high temperature or appears very hot.
Are complaining of, or appears to have a sore tummy, throat or ears.
Have a continuous cough.
Have had diarrhea and vomiting within the last 48 hours.
Have weeping, red eyes and/ or a yellow discharge around the eyes.
Have broken skin sores.
Have become ill with a communicable disease eg. Measles, mumps or chickenpox.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOUR CHILD EXPERIENCES VOMITING OR DIARRHOEA OUR POLICY IS THEY MUST REMAIN AT HOME FOR 48 HOURS AFTER THEIR LAST BOUT. THIS IS TO STOP THE SPREAD OF ILLNESS AS WELL AS TO ENSURE YOUR CHILD IS 100% BEFORE RETURNING TO
