It's an adapted version of the 'Open Everything' talk I used to give with case studies added for "What The HIV/Aids Movement Can Learn From The Green Movement About The Power of Networks". The case studies are Reel Youth, The Fresh Air Media Centre, and DeSmog Blog.

• HUMAN NETWORK:Reel Youth - Training, tools & support for online youth empowerment through media-making. 2001-present.

• Goals: provide communications support services to ‘outsider’ and unaccredited media during COP15.

• Goals: discredit climate change deniers & oil/gas lobbyists, provide clear science-based information about climate change.
• Intangibles: resistance, traffic, search optimization.
DeSmog BlogDebunking the climate change skeptics!
Reel Youthyouth empowerment through media making
• Audience: activists youth, indiginous youth, at-risk youth, oppressed youth, youth leaders.
• Services: training, access to technology, media skills, videography skills, editing skills, directing, producing.
• Goals: help youth find their voice through media making skills and training workshops and an international youth film festival.
• Intangibles: diversity of voices, stories told in youth’s own voices, increased community media making capacity.
