Disaster Management Centre (DMC) gathering information and updating the website regularly

People’s Aid Coordination Committee (PACCOM) strong support to NGOs operating in affected areas

Main affected sectors: short termWater, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to

prevent disease outbreaksHealth: ensure health centres are functioning

and providing sufficient servicesFood security: ensure that the gap until next

harvest is adequately addressedShelter: houses washed away and/or unroofed

WASH and Health clusters have been activated

Main affected sectors: long termLivelihoods, with main focus in agriculture and

fisheries, but including small and medium enterprises (handicraft, shops, etc.)

Education, with hardware (schools and classrooms) and “software” (notebooks, uniforms, etc).
