Nearly 4-lakh citizensbenefitted by SevaSetuin a week

Ahmedabad, Gujarat ChiefMinister Vijaybhai Rupani today saidthat 4-lakh citizens have beenbenefitted by Seva Setu programme inthe state during the last one week, tosolve people's issues under singlewindow scheme at their doorsteps.Speaking at a multipronged function ofthe Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC)on Airport Road, he said that Seva Setuhas been directed to solve poor'sproblems. He said the government iscommitted to provide houses, fittedwith toilet, water, cooking gas andelectricity to all homeless by 2022 underthe PM's AwasYojna and CM'sAwasYojna, In Rajkot, it is being builtin Kitipara locality. The new houseswould be stronger, each beneficiary toget up to Rs.70,000. He directed RMCto provide water, light and gutter linesat Chhotunagar.
