Busy Bee Summer!

Presidential Introduction <3

Hi Key Clubbers! This month was a lot better than last month. We experimented with thai tea and thai tea boba and discovered that our schools LOVES it, so we’ll definitely be selling more once the school year starts, in order to raise funds for PTP! We also had our officers attend OTC so they could learn how to do their submissions. Other than that, we helped clean up at a summer family picnic. We also reunited with our wolves at divisional events such as the car wash and everything was smooth sailing. Talk about the best summer ever! Can’t wait to see what the next month has in store for us.

The Articles Divisional Car Wash The annual carwash took place at Coco’s Bakery on June 21st. A few of our members and officers attended this event and were able to spend time with other wolves from the division. We had so much fun cleaning cars and raising money for banquet! Whether it was cleaning cars, cheering or attracting customers, our Key Clubbers were hard at work to help the division out.

Hoover Boba Sales The combined creativity and hard work by the Hoover Key Club earned a profit of $199.02 for selling thai ice tea boba during lunch periods at Hoover High School. We proudly welcomed multiple members to volunteer preparing, selling, and advertising. This successful event was due to our active members, creative officers, and key club pride. We look forward to continuing boba sales for the upcoming school year to fundraise for PTP.

Jennifer’s dedication to key club is outstanding! Our club this month helped clean up after a picnic at Hope Chapel in Los Feliz. Even though it was not the most glamorous job, picking up countless trash and lifting up table umbrellas and all, she had no complaints and did her job. Jennifer may be quiet and even shy but when it comes to helping out with the community, she does not hesitate to lend a hand and offer her services. Her attendance has been a significantly helpful to the community. Her positivity and enthusiasm is a great contribution to our club. Good job, Jennifer!

Member of the Month!!!

Officer of the Month!!!

Christian Acfalle is Hoover High’s historian. Without his presence, our club would have nothing to look back on, no memories to remember. At every event he attends, he runs around with his camera, takes candid shots of the key clubbers, and even the food we ate that day! Not only is he an amazing officer, he is also a big help in the community. He does not just take pictures at these events, he contributes hard work to the community as well. He is always up and running! Because of his outstanding job and great enthusiasm, Christian has been named the officer of the month.
