Sharing the Gospel Jesus told his friends to give a whole crowd of people something to eat. All
they had was a little fish and bread. How could they possibly feed all those
people with so little food? God gave them what they needed to help other
people. When you want to help other people, trust God to give you what you
need.
Prayer: Dear God, with your power I can really help other people.

If you have NOT received your free 8X10 picture from LifeTouch, this
was the information that we were provided from LifeTouch to help
you get your picture.
Anyone can find out the status of their order by calling our Guest Services at 1.888.313.1746. Each family/couple/single would have received paperwork when they we fin-ished with their session. This paperwork would have had this number on it and also their sit number (8 digit number). It is best if they have this sit number available when they call but if not our Guest Services can look them up by name and church.
Next weekend we are taking up
a 5th Sunday collection for St.
Anthony School tuition assis-
tance and to help the poor and
homeless.

From Msgr. Frank Chiodo
Fellow Family Members of St. Anthony,
This Sunday marks the 98th anniversary of the first Corpus Christi Procession here at St. An-
thony’s. Historic records show there were as many as 4000 people gathered for this sacred
event during the l940’s. What a great witness to our faith!
This year we are celebrating the procession with Christ the King parish. Christ the King is a
daughter parish of ours—being founded in l939. So our southside family is together again for
the most venerable custom of our great parish.
Welcome to our Christ the King friends and neighbors. Welcome too to our Bishop who is presiding at our Mass and
procession. We are grateful and privileged to have Bishop Pates with us for this event.
We are grateful to those who organized the event and prepared the grotto for the Mass, Nick Iaria, the grand marshal
of the procession, the Knights of Columbus, our singers and Hispanic dancers. Thanks to Charlotte Hunkele and the
joint choir. Our friends who are preparing the luncheon deserve a hardy applause. We are grateful to all.
Congratulations to the recipients of the Pillars of the Parish award. They are Marco & Diana Balmaceda, Paul &
Michele Belden, Mark Danford, Jim O’Donnell, William Stowe, William Trout & Evelyn Whitcher
This event is an invitation in faith to cultivate a deeper love and devotion to the Lord, present in the Blessed Sacra-
ment. Our church is open everyday into the late evening. Stop by often to pay a visit to the Lord—I believe He greatly
delights in our taking time for a visit.
O sacrament most holy, o sacrament divine, may all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine. Amen
