I wish to thank my church family for themany prayers and get well cards I receivedwhile in the hospital, during myrecuperation from surgery which resulted ina mild stroke. I especially want to express

my appreciation to Brad, Dave and Sue fortheir prayers when visiting me at thehospital. I am blessed to have a God who waswith me and Judy the entire time during thisdifficult time in my life.

    A Note from brAd.. .

I want to thank those who prayed for our Joplin mission team last week. Theymade it back and had a fabulous time as they served the victims of the communityThey will make a Power point presentation in the near future. Look for moredetails soon.

This week during VBS I will lead a class for parents entitled: Value-Packed

Parenting, by Dr. Kevin Leman. You will really enjoy Lemans humor and insightfuinstruction. I do hope you will take advantage of this opportunity for solidifyingyour relationship with your children as you seek to provide Biblical training. Join usif you are not serving as a volunteer for VBS. We will meet from 6:30-7:30 in room209.

Due to VBS, on Wednesday we will break from our Half-Time bible study. We wilretool next Wednesday, June 29th. Come learn with us as we discover how tomake the second half of your life the best of your life.

Let me leave you with this thought. Scripture says: Praise the Lord, all youGentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! For His merciful kindness [love] is grea

toward us, and the truth of the Lord [faithfulness] endures forever. Praise the Lord

    (Ps. 117)

Ah, thats the good news! Contained in this hallelujah psalm is a message to a

nations of the world that Gods merciful kindnessHis covenant loveis grea

    toward us (v.2).

Think about what Gods love means. God loved us before we were born; He willove us after we die. Not one thing can separate us from the love of God that is in

Jesus our Lord (Rom. 8:39). His heart is an inexhaustible and irrepressible fountain

    of love!

    Cya.
