So back in January when I asked you what you wanted more of, how many of you said fun!? This was probably the empty nesters that have spent most of their lives taking care of everyone else. Now they find themselves just wanting to enjoy life.

Of course we do! And my suggestion is just do itwhatever that is. Do you want to spend more time with your kids, your grandkids, your girlfriends, your husband, your cousins, your dog, yourself!? Decide you are going to have fun in everything you do, even during everyday activities. You can have fun while driving to work with the radio cranked up and singing at the top of your lungs (Cyndi Laupers Girls just want to have Fun would be appropriate)! You can have fun shopping for groceriesriding the cart down the aisle and saying hello with a big smile on your face to everyone you see. Watch and listen to a video of a baby laughing! Run through the sprinkler with your kids or grandkids!Having fun can be silly or serious. Maybe its preparing for and running a marathon. Maybe its taking piano lessons and having your first recital when you are 70. Maybe its volunteering with hospice. Calling a friend you havent talked to in a long time. Use your imagination. If you arent sure what to do for fun, sit down with your journal and do a little

brainstorming. Think back when you were a child and recall all the things you dreamed about and wanted to do. Make a list of all the things you love to do and havent done for a long time. When you hear the clich, life is too shortit is. Dont wait, start having fun today! So what does all this have to do with Women Changing Lives? We want to help you get the things you are wanting more in life. We love what we do and we have fun! We often say if you are not having fun, then maybe you need to do something else! We partner with a billion dollar, debt free company with a one-of-a-kind business model. We specialize in mentoring professionals to create permanent financial security and generate purpose-driven lives. Contact me for the details. I have nothing to sell you, only the facts and truth to give you. Come see how Women Changing Lives can help you change your life and have FUN!Karens journey includes climbing the corporate ladder for over 15 years, over 120 hours of graduate studies, owning and operating franchise restaurants, and having her own successful business working from home for the last 14 years. She is an entrepreneur focused on having a positive impact on everyone she meets. Contact Karen Caprino-Burg at 317-828-3061 or [email protected].

The story of HCG began in the Fifties when, after having done research on weight loss for 40 years and research on HCG specifically for twenty years, Dr. Simeons reported that patients taking small amounts of HCG, in conjunction with a very low calorie diet, could lose weight safely and quickly, without exercise, hunger, irritability, muscle injury or weakness.

But all HCG is not created equal. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of confusion created by products being sold without guidance that call themselves HCG but do not contain any in their ingredient list. HCG is one of 67 hormones naturally produced in the human body, so if a product states that it is hormone free; it is not HCG. Dr. Simeons diet protocol ought not to be followed without real HCG. The Pounds and Inches Away program starts with pharmaceutical HCG.

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is not a growth or sex hormone; it does not feminize men or masculinize women. It is not an appetite suppressant, stimulant or vitamin supplement. Nor does HCG produce weight loss by itself. However, in concert with a very specific balanced diet, and our help in avoiding unexpected environmental or behavioral deviations, HCG will allow the body to naturally pull the nutrients and calories needed from stored fat reserves into the blood stream at the rate of 1500 to 4000 calories per day.

We are sure that those who follow our protocol WILL lose 20-30 pounds in 40 days. These fantastic results ARE typical with our full service packages. The Pounds and Inches Away program is not your run of the mill eat less and exercise more diet for a slow loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week that seems to take the rest of your life. Our protocol tricks Mother Nature a little, maybe, however only natural processes are

at work. Per Dr. Simeons, it is safe and so very effective.

At Pounds and Inches Away, we are also excited to be able to offer Whole Body Vibration technology by Advanced Healthworks to help people reach their goals. Ten minutes on our Jiggy machine produces benefits comparable to those gained in a one-hour workout without the sweat and effort of traditional exercise. More than 700 medical studies have been published about the health benefits of Whole Body Vibration. These benefits include improved circulation, increased muscle strength and flexibility, better core conditioning, improved range of motion, enhanced metabolism, increased bone density, and more. The Whole Body Vibration technology has also been used to improve problems with osteoporosis, diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia, incontinence, arthritis, Parkinsons disease and other conditions. We encourage the use of these machines for their wonderful skin tightening effects.

To get slim and stay that way, call our office at (317) 849-THIN today. We will help you reach your weight loss goals and improve your health, appearance and self-image. Nothing tastes as good as THIN feels

Have you ever been so involved in doing something that you lost track of time?Everything around you from the beeping of the phone, to the people passing in the hallways seems to fade away. You have laser focus on what you are doing, and you are so engaged that you might even miss lunch. You feel energized, even joyful, about what you are doing. Most of us have had this experience at one time or another. Psychologists call this "flow." When it happens, we lose all track of time, and move forward on instinct, completely devoted to the task at hand. Some call it mojo, athletes call it in the zone whatever you call it, its a very positive and results oriented place to be! Your level of flow is determined by the perceived level of difficulty of the task at hand and your skill levels to handle the task.Different emotions come up too. For example, if the task isn't challenging and doesn't require a lot of skill, we're likely to feel apathy towards it. But facing a challenging task without the required skills could easily result in worry and anxiety. To find a balance, and to perform at our best, we need a challenge that is significant and interesting, and we need well-developed skills, so that we're confident that we can meet the challenge. This moves us to a position where we can experience "flow" (being totally involved and engaged in the activity). This state of flow is often observed in people who have mastered their business, art, sport, or hobby. They make whatever they're doing look easy and they're totally engaged with it.

10 Components of FlowHow do you know when you're experiencing flow?

    1. Have a clear understanding of what you want to achieve.2. Be able to concentrate for long periods of time.3. Find that time passes quickly.4. Get direct and immediate feedback.5. Experience levels of balance between ability levels and challenge of task.6. Have a sense of personal control over the challenge.7. Feel that the activity is intrinsically rewarding.8. Lack awareness of bodily needs. (skip meals & sleep)9. Lose the feeling of consciousness of ones self.10. Be completely absorbed in the activity.

Remember that all of these factors and experiences don't necessarily have to be in place for flow to happen. But you're likely to experience many of them when flow occurs.Improve your chances of experiencing flow:

    * Set goals. Learning to set effective goals can help you achieve the focus you need.* Improve Concentration. Use strategies to eliminate distraction to create more productivity.* Build Self-confidence. Implement skills to build up confidence.* Get Feedback. Create relationships of trust that allow important feedback to improve.* Make your work more challenging. Improve your mindset to seek opportunities for growth.* Improve your skills. Identify the skills that you need to work on to be successful.* Mentor or Coach. Dont do it alone. Seek out books and mentors to coach you.

Do what you love to do and you will never work a day in your life! Just go with the flow and know you can live the life of your dreams!

Many clients come to coaching because they want to acquire self discipline. Most people are not born with this personality trait. The average person has to create a plan that supports self-discipline. Acquiring self-discipline can be a difficult process. It requires ongoing work. The payoff is in the endorphin high that you can get when you are successful and then self discipline becomes effortless.

Self-discipline insures lifelong changes that result in success for the long term. Michael A. Janke, a motivational coach, says that self-discipline is the ability to regulate your conduct by principle, persistence, and sound judgment rather than desire or social acceptance. Self-discipline is a sure guarantee for a solid sense of self-worth. It is the vehicle for prosperity, honor and integrity. To be truly self-disciplined requires that you focus on what you gained as opposed to what you lost. Recovering addicts focus on their strengths, coping skills, and restored sanity. They embrace what they have gained as opposed to what they have lostthe alcohol in their life.

People who are losing weight look at their improved mental and physical well-being as opposed to the deprivation of sugar, fat, or carbohydrates. Self-discipline is the ability to create a mindset where you focus on the positive aspects of control and substitution. It is imperative to focus on the positives and look at what you will be gaining from changing your behavior. If you cant focus on what you will likely have lost you will likely not accomplish your goalsbecause you have not acquired the mindset to achieve them.

In a society that emphasizes immediate gratification, saying no is an essential component to developing self-discipline. It requires that you learn how to manage your desires, impulses and behaviors as opposed to having the immediate gratification that typically controls you.

Addicts will tell you that relapse is a normal part of recovery, and yet true recovery will not occur until you create a strategy that offers you substitution and hope. It should not be viewed as a failure to relapse. True recovery requires that you accept these failures in combination with creating a

    strategy for success.

People who live a self-disciplined life were not born that way. They had a felt shift in their thinking, coupled with a plan that they could incorporate into their lifestyle. A felt shift is a pivotal attitudinal change in how people view life. I believe you can control your own destiny if you have the proper infrastructure to support you.

What do you need or want to change in your life?

Makealistofalloftheobstaclesandreasons that you havent been successful.

    Makealistofallofthereasonsthatyouwant the change.

If your obstacle list is longer than your change list, you arent really ready to make the change.

Do not set yourself up for failure. If you are not psyched up and ready to set up the proper supports to do the work then you need to stay in the contemplation stage of change and ask yourself What is it that I really need to make this change successful?

Finding the right supports and having a positive attitude is essential to creating the self discipline necessary to actualize goals. You will always be more successful if you can create an enthusiasm and excitement for all of the positive things that will occur when you practice the art of Self-discipline.

To learn more about improving your digestive and colon health call Cleansing Waters - a Colon Hydrotherapy and Body Ecology Center dedicated to empowering the individual in reclaiming health and wellness in a natural and sensible manner. 317-259-0796.

    1. Start each day with a glass of warm water and fresh squeezed organic lemon.

    2. Avoid Overeating - Eat only until youre about 80 percent full to give your digestive tract a chance to function properly.

    3. Combine Food properly. 80% of your plate will be land and sea vegetables. Choose either a

grain/starchy vegetable or animal protein for the remaining 20%. Eat fruits alone.

    4. Slow chewing time to enable the enzymes contained in your saliva to begin breaking down those starches and carbohydrates.

    5. Take a full-spectrum enzyme supplement with all your cooked meals. Raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds have enzymes that allow the natural breaking down of the food in the digestive tract into absorbable nutrients

    and vitamins.

    6. Avoid sugar, flour products, and unfermented dairy products. They are among the most damaging foods to the colon. They are very mucus-forming; the mucus slowly accumulates on the walls of the colon and creates a mucous barrier preventing nutrients from being absorbed through the colon wall and back into the body.

    7. Avoid Fatigue. The bowel movement is a cleansing and cleansing requires energy.

    8. Always Choose Organic Foods.

    9. Cleanse your digestive tract regularly using a variety of methods and types: enemas, colonics, herbs, juice fasting, Body Ecology Diet, parasites, candida, heavy metals, and liver and gallbladder flushes.

    10. Build your Intestinal Flora by adding probiotics to your daily diet in the form of cultured foods and beverages to keep the colon clean and allow friendly bacteria to grow.

    11. Drink Alkaline Ionized water daily.

Margie Hiestand - 2013 Female Spirit Winner Margie Hiestand, a Registered Nurse, spent 41 years of her life overseas serving in a prenatal and postnatal clinic with only a midwife, as there was no OB/GYN doctor available. The clinic served the neglected Berber people, who had no prenatal care. She served as a nurse and missionary for three years in Tunisia, three years in Libya and 35 years in Morocco. After returning to this country due to health concerns, she has continued her life of service in Lafayette, Indiana, spending almost all of her time, ministering to and helping others. In March 1956, while reading My Utmost For His Highest by Oswald Chambers and

The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer, Margie first felt the call to the mission field and has lived her life, faithful to that call.

Jay Ruckelshaus - 2013 Male Spirit Winner After experiencing a life-changing and paralyzing diving injury, shortly after graduating from Cathedral High School as

the Co-Valedictorian, Jay Ruckelshaus has set out to make a difference in other peoples lives. Jay is now a Sophomore at Duke University, and while making perfect grades, he has spent much time and effort to start a Foundation, called

The Ramp Less Traveled, which will assist other youth with paralyzing injuries and help them attend and excel in college.

Harrison & Moberly, LLP and Marti Starkey also give a Starkey Entrepreneurial Spirit Award to individuals who have exhibited courage, tenacity and selflessness in

an endeavor (not necessarily a business).

Dan Sease, Ron Schwier, and Jannett Keesling (our 2008 SEWA Winner) enjoy the buffet.

Our goal is that all of our patients have bright, smooth, and healthy complexions. To accomplish this, we remind our patients that the foundation of beautiful skin is adequate hydration, use sunscreen daily, and eat well. Building on the foundation is skincare. I have researched, developed and perfected a custom medical grade vitamin and antioxidant skincare line rich in lipids that help maintain healthy skin. We prescribe our skincare line in conjunction with our custom medically supervised facial and aesthetics services. Some of the patients I see require a higher level of treatment to improve their skin. In these situations we suggest non-invasive or minimally invasive laser therapy to blend age or sunspots, reduce pore size, control acne, and improve skin tone and quality. We have one of the largest cosmetic laser centers in the country. Our center performs research for most biotech & laser manufacturers, which gives our patients the ability to have state-of-the-art treatments for any skin problem or improvement goal. Defying Gravity Like it or not, as we age, our mid-facial muscles weaken, we see flattening of our cheeks, deepening of our marionette lines, jowling, and banding or fullness of our necks. For many of our patients, there comes a point when surgery is the best option to reverse sagging skin on necks, cheeks, or around the eyes. Techniques and improvements have advanced significantly over the years allowing many more options for outpatient surgical procedures that offer minimal downtime and rapid healing. Battling the Bulge Stubborn areas of fat accumulation, cellulite

and stretch marks can be frustrating and seem more difficult to lose with on-going age. These areas of brown fat do not oxidize with routine and regular aerobic workouts. Our Center offers comprehensive packages designed to help rid men and women of these problems. After ensuring proper nutrition and exercise, non-surgical ultrasound and radiofrequency systems are utilized to reduce selected fatty deposits and improve the dimpled look of cellulite. Severe cellulite can be treated with subcutaneous laser fiber therapy to dissect the fibrous bands responsible for the cellulite.

After a non-surgical attempt, residual fat can be removed safely with the most state of the art laser-assisted liposuction systems, or traditional tumescent liposculpting for larger areas. The natural loss of elasticity in skin with aging, pregnancy, or massive weight loss can also be successfully treated with non-surgical and surgical combination therapies designed individually for each patient. We offer a unique system for softening and in many cases, ridding women of unwanted stretch marks. The Future Breakthroughs in science now allow us to repair or heal our self with our own tissue. Fibroblasts, Stem Cells, and other forms of regenerative medicine are paving the way for numerous anti-aging, aesthetic, and other health improving treatments. Our Center is a part of an exciting Stem Cell Research Program, which will further expand the treatments available to our patients.
