Introduction

The first assignment of the Web Development module is a website project. The subject is “The internet of things” and the scenario is displayed on NILE; University of Northampton site with all the specifications of the website rules.

TaskThe web site “Internet of things” consist of five website pages. The html code will be programmed using the Notepad++ software. The topics that enrich the website are: Big Data Industry Iot Revolution



1. The main rules of the site are the following:

∞ Research from different sources information for relevant article ∞ Credit will be given for using academic sources from the library site or

Google Scholar∞ Use at list 12-15 sources∞ Complete this research and summarize all the founded information with

own words∞ Copy & Paste is not acceptable∞ The design considerations (take into account guidelines on usability and

accessibility)

3. Web pages presentation

3.1 Internet of things Web siteThe first and index page of site is the page named “Internet of things”.Internet of things or IOT is the connection of devices to the Internet in real time. It’s a world where devices of every shape and size are manufactured with “smart” capabilities that allow them to communicate and interact with other devices, exchange data, programmed to make decisions and perform useful tasks based on preset conditions. Is a revolution that will change many sectors, such as: technology, industry, science, car and construction industry etc. Is a new wave that will change the way how companies are working and will create the perspective for new profile companies; will change the way how we will shop, how we will work, even how and what we will cook in the kitchen, will change the habits of everyday life, will change our life.

3.2 Big Data Web siteThe second page of site is the page named “Big Data”.Every device (phone, laptop, and computers) is analyzing, processing, creating many data, data that it is necessary to save it somewhere. Hundred, thousand, million connected devices will create hundred, thousand, millions of data. Social media in our days are a real example of the big data, which in time will be dramatically elevated. Up to the year 2020 all the connected devices will produce around 50 Trillion data. The question is: where will be stock all this fudge of information? The answer and the solution to this global problem will be given from the Data Warehouses.

3.3 The Industrial Internet of Things Web siteThe Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) is a complex of hardware (physical objects, systems, machinery and equipment) and software (platforms, applications and software) that are connected and communicate with each other and with people. The connections and the cooperation between industrial systems, software and other technologies, will secure the access to real-time information. IIOT will be based on transition of brilliant machines in parallel with consistent and meaningful user experience.



3.4 IOT Revolution Web siteMany studies and researches have been made for the Iot to date, show spectacular results. The development and upgrading of Iot will bring radical changes in all levels and categories.Research shows that up to 2020 will be 4 Billion connected people and the Revenue Opportunity will be increased to 4 Trillion Dollars. More than 25 Billion embedded and intelligent systems will use more than 25 Million apps that will generate 50 Trillion GBs of Data. Will be exciting and thrilling for everyone in occupational and personal life.The radical changes in occupational and personal levels will provide humanity an exciting and thrilling experience.

3.5 How I made this page Web siteThe last page of site summarize general information with the sources that enrich the contents of Website such as Information Technology Websites, Scholar Google, Library of University, Researches Companies, articles, video from YouTube etc.References are listed and recorded by site using the right Harvard Methodology style. Is included also a contact form and the telephone number, in case that someone want to be in touch for further information about the site.

7. SummaryThe studies and researches that have been made for the Internet of Thinks (IOT) to date present spectacular results. The development and upgrading of VR will bring radical changes in many levels and categories.Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds. By simulating as many senses as possible, such as vision, hearing, touch, even smell, the computer is transformed into a gatekeeper to this artificial world. The only limits to near-real VR experiences are the availability of content and cheap computing power.Virtual reality is the creation of a virtual environment presented to our senses in such a way that we experience it as if we were really there. It uses a host of technologies to achieve this goal and is a technically complex feat that has to account for our perception and cognition. It has both entertainment and serious uses. The technology is becoming cheaper and more widespread. We can expect to see many more innovative uses for the technology in the future and perhaps a fundamental way in which we communicate and work thanks to the possibilities of virtual reality.The radical changes in occupational and personal levels will provide humanity an exciting and thrilling experience. Will be exciting and thrilling of occupational and personal life.The VR technology could be a firm stepping stone for the greater leap of mankind in every aspect of our lives, and VR technology’s boundless potential is going to soar far beyond all the more commonly known applications!
