Joey Hays 2014 A generalist at heart, my interests in landscape architecture build from a foundation in construction, sculpture, math and photography. From a background making small scale gardens and well crafted details, my interests now include regional scale planning and urban infrastructure along with the maintenance practices that inform them. I believe landscape architects can reframe challenges as opportunities by understanding the social and environmental context of each site as simultaneously unique and part of a larger story.

A generalist at heart, my interests in landscape architecture build
from a foundation in construction, sculpture, math and photography.
From a background making small scale gardens and well crafted
details, my interests now include regional scale planning and urban
infrastructure along with the maintenance practices that inform them.
I believe landscape architects can reframe challenges as opportunities
by understanding the social and environmental context of each site as
simultaneously unique and part of a larger story.
