Com- plex aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate, and coffee precede this wine’s long, smooth finish. 2017 began with powerful rainfall and flowering, which resulted in little shatter and normal sugar levels. October brought a number of wildfires, but the year’s near-perfect start made 2017 an excellent vintage.
