Our purpose is that of motivating people between the ages of 18 and 40 to become better persons in their professional and personal lives. JCI believes in equipping young people with the skills required to enable their empowerement by the realities around them. JCI provides young people with the power to take action, no matter how small, to make the communities around them, a better place. JCI Malta is part of Junior Chamber International, a worldwide federation of 200,000 young active members in over 100 countries. Each national organisation is composed of a National Board that changes every year as part of its philosophy ‘1 year to lead’. JCI members across the globe have one common motto - ‘Be Better’. #FeedYourDreams #FollowYourPassion The year 2015 is a very important year for the organisation as it celebrates its 100th year of creating positive change around the World. JCI Malta is dedicating this year to providing events and projects led by its members to discover their talents, develop their skills, increase their network and find their passion in life. The team is led this year by Annalisa Schembri as National President with the support of Jonathan J Borg serving the role of Immediate Past President, Clayton Mercieca as Deputy President and VP International, Dr Daniela Grech as Secretary General, Rachel Cassar as Local President of JCI de la Valette (Business), Alexia Borg as Local President of JCI Wignacourt (Social & Community) and Lennox Deguara as Treasurer. The board is further supported by a number of JCI members acting as project managers who have expressed the desire to do something for their community, and the Senators, who are lifelong members of JCI recognised for their invaluable contribution towards the organisation.
