IP Tools, Training and TransformationWith easy-to-use and reliable products allied to comprehensive training, Habitech is launching the first integrated
platform for high performance IP networking.
The Idea
For ten years the home entertainment industry has fought to keep
Microsoft out of the living room, but there’s a sense of inevitability
about the ascendancy of internet-connected devices in the home. At
four billion addresses, the current IPv4 capacity is close to saturation.
The roll-out of its successor, IPv6, will release up to 340 trillion, trillion,
trillion IP addresses, allowing every device to have its own IP identity.
In its white paper ‘ESC of 2016’, published last year, CEDIA reports
that many integrators “do not have the in-depth knowledge of Internet
Protocol (IP) required to design the connected home and thus are not
ready for their clients’ needs in 5 years…the CEDIA member of 2016
must become an IP focused business that is agile enough to quickly
adjust their business model to adapt to the ever-changing CEDIA
landscape.”
If you need to get up to speed in IP networking, we’re here to help.
Our ‘ProNet’ platform of products and training offers you proven and
powerful IP tools and training, designed to give you the opportunity to
maintain control in the home and even earn some margin as well.
We’re launching Habitech ProNet now because we think the time has
come for products that provide a scalable, bullet-proof wireless
platform for homes large and small and can act as a buffer against the
well publicised, so-called ‘plug and play’ brands.
The BrandsUnder the Habitech ProNet banner we’re offering three tremendously powerful and complementary brands. Ruckus wireless
infrastructure products, Niveo Professional's range of networking components and Draytek IPv6-ready routers are proven, robust, easy-
to-install product lines which will optimise wireless network performance and provide flexibility, reliability, and, ultimately, will save
you time and money.
With a strong and proven track record of supporting large commercial
enterprises, the multi-award winning, IPv6-ready DrayTek routers not only
provide a vast array of security and connectivity features, they have enormous
processing power and a peerless reputation for reliability. With genuine Gigabit
routing together with easy configuration and installation, they offer performance
way beyond the ubiquitous packaged products.

Ruckus Wireless is a pioneer in the wireless infrastructure market. Its Smart Wi-Fi technology redefines what’s possible in wireless network performance applying peerless flexibility and bullet-proof reliability to extract unmatched capacity and reliability from 802.11 standards.
The beauty of the Ruckus Smart WLAN approach is that it ensures that wireless coverage is managed, meshed and distributed perfectly around the home/office. It blends high-gain adaptive antenna technology (BeamFlex™) and sophisticated best-path-selection algorithms (ChannelFly) to direct signals over the highest performance paths to each and every client. Self-organised, self-optimised and self-healing, and, unlike many competing systems, complete with concurrent dual-band (5GHz/2.4GHz) support, Ruckus WiFi management reaches further and is inherently more stable. It mitigates interference and focuses RF energy only where it's needed to ensure unprecedented coverage and consistent performance at longer ranges: all the bells and whistles, easy to deploy and manage.
