This article introduced the audience about the most known indigenous conflict resolution mechanism in North East Ethiopia called the Abegar System . "Abegar is widly practiced in Amhara Region. The study explored cultural values that contribute to peaceful coexistence, political stability and economic development of the above mentioned community.
