Introduction to artists The artist on the front cover of 'OMGPOP' is Hannah Vickers. Hannah Vickers (born 1st march 1995) was born and raised in London, England; she studied at the BRIT school before signing with Gut Records, and striking a song writing deal with Sony/ATV music publishing. Vickers has always loved pop music, and gets inspirations from Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry. She identifies herself as a Christian, and says 'without God, I wouldn't be where I am today'. By the age of 19, she had released her first album, 'Shake' and completed a sold out world tour. Collaborations on this album include Jessica Jones, Sean Keith and Diana Swift. Vickers is also known for her narrative songs about her personal experiences. As a songwriter, she's been honoured by the London Songwriters Association and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Other achievements include 4 Grammy awards, 5 Billboard Music Awards and 2 Academy of Pop Music Awards. To date, she has sold over 15 million albums, and over 30 million digital single downloads. In addition to this, she has appeared as an actress in the comedy, 'Love Story'. Vickers is featuring as the main artist in my magazine because she’s a young and successful artist in the pop genre, and the young audience can aspire to be like her. She has also taken part in charity work, so she is a positive role model for her fans.

Another artist that will feature in my magazine are The Nymphs; a British band from Wales who are very popular within the pop industry. They currently have four Brit Awards, 2 MTV Video Music Awards, 17 Teen Choice Awards, and 8 MTV Europe Music Awards. They currently have 3 albums, and are working on their third currently – the target audience would like the chance to meet the Nymphs so they can meet one of the biggest bands on the planet.
Taylor Gumbs also stars on the front cover of ‘OMGPOP’, next to a sell-line giving the reader an insight into the article. Gumbs is an upcoming pop star, who has recently released her second album ‘Style’.
Taylor Swift also appears on the front cover of ‘OMGPOP’, and there are exclusive images from her concert in this issue. Taylor Swift started off as a country artist, and eventually made herself into one of the biggest pop stars in the world. She has seven albums, and stars in ‘Valentines day’ (the movie).
